  • If NRC had offers from other clubs he would have joined them before the start of the season,he would certainly not be training with us,I dont believe a word CP has said to news shopper, because he is a very clever man who plays down anything like this.
  • I remember when Jason euell was 100% just training with us.

Lets hope NRC has a bigger impact if its true then
  • For that reason in out

as it's in the News Shopper, i refuse to believe any of that ;)

Ha that is of course a matter for you!

  • scp probably saw the reason why hes a current freebie during the training sessions (possible injury, age catching up to him, lost his touch... whatever) so now that scp doesnt want him, he doesnt want to be rude and kick him out of training either... just IMO
  • Now Chrissy has said that we can look forward to him playing in a Charlton shirt soon.
  • if he does sign, he would go straight into my side (replacing hollands who has struggled the last 3 fixtures) ...

    Straight in .....?

Even if he was to be signed, NRC hasn't even had a proper pre-season with any club.

    Shake it all about?

thats true, he will need some fitness regime. but i have watched reo coker for a while now, and he would improve the side IMO. especially that center park area which is lacking some bite
  • Begs the question what on earth are we doing to try to rectify the obvious inadequacies in our current midfield. Without reinforcements I am very concerned for our season.
  • I still hope he signs, Powell is just being a spin doctor, again hopefully.

After reading that reckon its more likely to happen. Said the same thing about euell before we resigned him. Think we're trying to get him a bit fitter before signing him

Do the reo Coker and you turn around?
  • As a favour from Powell and Dyer NRC is training with us to get/stay fit? No doubt he is not getting charged for using our facilities ... so how about NRC doesn't charge us and play a few games for us to return the favour to Powell and Dyer? Just a thought.

So all we need now if for SCP to say "I wouldn't sign him if he got down on his knees and begged" and we can start ordering NRC Charlton replica shirts.

    Wooooahhhhh the Reo Coker!!!
  • Knees bent , arms bent , Ra, Ra Ra...
  • Why exactly would it be beneficial for Powell to pretend we had no chance of signing him though?
  • Reminds me of Michael Stewart who thought he'd get a better deal.

We could be in negotiations and Powell wants to throw other suitors for Hokey-Cokey's signature off the scent.
