Well, because it`s Fifa delegates who make all of the decisions. They would have had 20 or more people there last night milling around trying to look important and in charge of things and when they had a decision to make their bottle went as usual.
They made a statement at 8pm(our time)last night saying "We are doing everything we can possibly can to get this game played tonight".
Then they went on to do err...........absolutely f**uck all!
Fifa couldn`t give a flying f**k about football fans, it`s all a game of power and money to them. The game itself is just a vehicle they use to achieve their aims.

I'm glad you chose to use facts to back up your accusations. Well done!
Most football grounds don't have roofs so it is difficult to legislate for a ground that has one not using it. It is a shame as this incident has embaressed FIFA and Polish football. Of course the logical decision was to close the roof in the morning with the forecast of heavy rain later and open it up before kick off if possible. I'm sure this would have happened, had Poland been playing San Marino.
I'm glad the game is being played today. I understand England were happy to play it and Poland not. If I was FIFA I would have made a point of finding out what the Poles wanted to do and then do the exact opposite. Only annoyance is that it is 4 o'clock rather than at a time where most of us can watch it. FIFA should have made it 8 o'clock.

think the earlier kick off gives the players more time to prepare for their games on saturday, hence the 4 ko decision
The earlier kick off is due to players having to have 48hrs between games if it was an evening ko the 3 polish players who are playing Friday might would brake this?????
It will also be to do with itv scheduling, at 8 they have an hour long live emmerdale or something along them lines.
Feel sorry for the boys out there that have stayed and hope they have all stuck together today, i can see the poles trying to pick english fans off in small numbers knowing full well over half have already returned home. Stay safe boys
Didn't mean it in that way fella just hoping all the boys out their stay safe apart from that trombone and band hope there instruments shoved up someone's arse sideways
The 4pm KO is due to the fact that ITV have an hour long live Emmerdale starting at 7pm, in honour of its' 40th anniversary :-)
dont know how much power ITV have, surely its down to UEFA to schedule not ITV because of bloody emerdale
You would think that would be the case but I definitely remember a few years back, an English team (think it was liverpool) were in the UEFA cup final & the KO was put back till 9PM as BBC1 had an hour long live episode of Eastenders on!!
