  • Can't believe no one has said Ernie Els... Back to the masters after missing out for the first time in donkey's years, desperate for a masters, won the open and at 125/1 surely worth a punt?

    Anyone feeling matt kuchar?

Possibly, read that he's been pulling a lot of money in Vegas. Down to 30/1 in America, I had money on him last year and he's due a true breakout win. I'll have a proper browse myself this evening.

Edit: Have gone for Mahan, Kuchar, Day and Dustin Johnson, all outright.

  • Westwood double bogey on the 1st hole....not a good start
  • yeah................cos I have £5 e/w on him. Remember, I'm also the poor sod whose only Aintree bet was on Little Josh; hit the 15th fence and was shot! Sorry Lee fans!
  • Justin Rose two under after two.

Is there any coverage anywhere before Sky starts at 7pm ?

    Same for Schwartzel

  • Snedeker started well too
  • Woods teeing off in around 30 minutes.
  • Justin Rose two under after two.

think you can get amen corner via the red button and a couple of other bits, but they take the NBC (or whoever it is) feed, even the sky coverage after 7pm breaks for their adds every 10/15 mins, bloody annoying.

they don't seem to show blanket coverage of the event in the US like the BBC do for the Open

  • Cheers mate, shame. Peppa Pig it is then !
  • In my best Norvan Irish accent...

Dere is a gay marn at one under parr
  • Ian Paisley?
  • Have gone for these, thought I might as well cover half the field... :0)

    Keegan Bradley ew
    Ian Poulter – ew
    Adam Scott – ew
    Tiger Woods – win
    Jim Furyk – ew
    KJ Choi – ew
  • Scott Piercys started well :/
  • not as well as Englishman David Lynn 5 under through 16
  • Augusta has a lot stricter controls than the R&A course. Not long ago you couldn't get coverage before 8 or 9 on any day, and thr thought of it in a video game was ridiculous.

I probably won't see any tonight, Friday and Sunday only for me. We always seem to be up north on Masters weekend.

    4 under at 17

Westwood gone from double bogeying first to 2 under

    Rose 3 under after 13

  • Sergio playing well
  • Hows Poulter doing?

  • Pouter having a shocker; +4
  • I tell you what - that 14 year old kid is unbelievable. Sergio looks brilliant... please, please, please let him hold it together.
  • ...and I love me some Freddie Couples. What is it about him and Augusta? Absolutely brilliant golf. I love watching golf, and will watch any tournament going, but no doubt that this is second only to the Ryder Cup in enjoyment for me.
  • couples was about 3000/1 on betfair I think lol

He won't win it - he's been in this position a few times in recent years but his back won't hold out - but by God it's great to watch him. Best swing I've ever seen.
  • It's a marathon not a sprint.

At least that's what I'm telling myself as Lucas Glover finished 2 over!
  • My three bets, GArcia, Furyk, and Choi, 40/1, 66/1, 70/1 pleased with their start.
Also got Garcia at 40/1 to lead after first day..........piss offKuchar

Garcia, Poulter and Schwarzel for me. Pretty pleased with those (apart from Poulter, who shit the bed in a bed way, but can still come back)
  • Had Kuchar, Molinari and Stenson, Stenson is done but the other 2 are still within a shout of a top 5 finish.
