Kuchar looks in annoyingly good shape. He winds me up - just look at his face. He looks like a simpleton. Like he should be playing Lenny from Of Mice and Men on stage somewhere
Update on my top 8 tips; 7 of the 8 players shot under par yesterday, all of whom remain in with a real chance of winning. Only Poulter blew-out and cannot be seen as a contender now given the 10 shot margin and quality of field above him.
Kuchar and Scott look like the best tip @ 35-1 & 28-1 and still hold good value around 16-1; worth an e/w at least to, at least, double your money. Remember Kuchar has never scored over par at Augusta so looks good for a minimum of 10 under which is a place in most years.
Michelson still looks a danger and went out to 20-1 at one point but is back to 12-1.
Rose is my hunch for the best Brit; more consistent then Westwood. As you know, I don't see McIlroy as a threat at Augusta, especially after yesterday's performance.
I believe the yanks (Couples, Johnson etc) will fall away. I still fancy Tiger to be in the top 6 by tonight and to take the Jacket on Sunday. Biggest threats remain Kuchar, Scott, Rose and Mickelson.
Good shout, Couples loves the place. He seems to click with certain courses, Riviera he's always in contention as well. I don't see Dustin Johnson falling away, maybe on Sunday night but he has easily got the game to hang in there plus he has the experience of near misses in 2010 and 2011.
If you have a smartphone then the Augusta app is worth a look, you can add favourite players (or ones you've bet on) for quick checks and you get an alert when they've finished.
I decided to lump on Garcia in the end as I felt 45-1 was real value. So couldn't be better so far. However, I now think Tiger will win it. No sense in that, I just do.

I second that RP, The Masters app is excellent and a really good way to keep a track on your players.
Tiger teed off at 18.41. It is now 19.25 and all leader board updates including on sky show he has only completed 1hole. Is this all because of the shit coverage the world has to accept every year because of the rediculous 'oh we are so special' controling attitude of the Augusta club? I find it intensely annoying.

It's taken him literally 1 hour 20 to play 3 holes, Woods and Donald are currently sat down on the 4th tee looking very bored.

That is absolute madness. Must be impossible to get any sort of rhythm, a real test of mental strength. Slow play really winds me up.

A half hour wait on that tee they've just said. It's playing hard so backing things up but that is ridiculous.
The kid has been given a one shot penalty for slow play. I hate slow play more than probably any man on earth, but bloody hell - its harsh to penalise a kid for that, especially when there are loads of others out there who are just as bad.

I think he was warned at least three times Leroy.
Yup, Butch Harmon said as much unfortunately. The young fella will learn though and in no way his fault for the long delays all over the course.

Fair enough, but there are seasoned pros out there taking the absolute piss, and I bet none of them have been warned once. Nice easy target, picking on a 14 year old kid.
It's for that reason that I never hit flagsticks. Too much risk, little reward.
I kind of like that there aren't any Europeans right at the front, I think one is most likely to win going under the radar rather than going off in the last group Sunday.
I agree with Leroy that it was harsh to penalise the young kid. He's taking his time on what is one of the biggest sporting occasions, a chance of making history, just have a quiet word in the club house.
Interesting. One of the guys from that site I posted has had another look and says it does look illegal. Guessing it was on 15, I didn't notice anything. That would be a DQ for signing the scorecard incorrectly.
Meldrew, it's on BBC from tonight. I've been having to use dodgy streams.
Looks like he didn't drop from the line of where the ball went in as it went in from hitting the flag stick and instead he dropped from a couple of yards back from his original shot

Kuchar, yeah, reminds me of Neil Webb

It's got Fred Couples as Italian. LOL
Guan Tingpang is round at +4 so looks as though he'll make cut.
amazing achievement.
Don't give up hope.
Woods just played an amazing shot that was so good, it hit the pin.......
But as a result, rebounded off into the water! Unbelievable.

5 of my 8 tips are -3 so well placed still to win or, at worst, a place. Only Poulter missed the cut.
The yanks have faded, as predicted.
Woods unlucky yesterday and remains favourite in my book.
Still lots of twists and turns to come. Very interesting. Just gutted it's only on Sky!
