Its only a little scuffle. Not really large scale is it..
Was expecting something better the way some of yous were going on about it.

Would love to have seen your reaction if you was in the middle of it.
    Bemused probably.
It is out of order near families.
  • Surprise surprise
A man has been arrested on suspicion of theft of a police hat after trouble at Saturday's FA Cup semi-final.

The Lewisham man, 27, was arrested on Tuesday following disorder at Wembley Stadium during the Millwall v Wigan Athletic match.

Police work at its finest, Hendon must be brimming with pride.

You're quite right to be sarcastic. Clearly they should have let the cheeky scamp off.

Cant see how they can charge him with anything, unless they have video of him removing it from an officers head, but as I suspect he did genuinely pick it off the floor, he handed it back to a van full of police outside, different outcome if he had gone home with it.
Smacks of the police trying to save face and prove a point, cant see it going anywhere.

This, he made it common knowledge that he handed it back to the police outside the ground, simply a case of driving up the number of arrests while the drug taking, children pushing, police attacking lot get away with it.
  • pretty sure he walks a dog up mountsfield park
  • I'd love to know what the maximum sentence is for 'theft of a police hat'. After everything that went on at Wembley, they nick a bloke for that. Laughable.
  • if that's all he did I hope nobody is actually hoping he gets bird?

  • Thieving the hat is not a Big deal. I thought it was quite funny.
  • Six months for man guilty of impersonating a police officer?
  • He deserves at least a year for his haircut.
  • hat related crimes are on the increase.

make an example of him, 2 months in the hole.
  • He deserves at least a year for his haircut.

    Two years.
  • He shouldn't be punished for picking up the hat but he should be punished for behaving like an absolute cock as he walked away with it thinking he was so funny (and hard)
  • He should've claimed he was running it back to his pregnant girlfriend who needed a wee,but couldn't find her in the all the chaos so handed it back after the game
  • He deserves at least a year for his haircut.

    Two years.
Sharing a cell with Mick Philpott. That'll learn him.
  • He deserves at least a year for his haircut.

    Jealousy, such an ugly trait...

    Jealousy, such an ugly trait...

    harsh................................but fair.

  • The law regarding theft includes, I believe, 'intention to permanently deprive', which if he even slung it into a 'meat wagon' would mean that he is not guilty of theft.
The haircut on the other hand....
  • He's got a lot of hair on his body too.
  • Is it just me??? A few days ago people on here were laying into the bloke left right and centre...now he's been nicked it's all, "Ah poor little spanner has been picked on by the filfth..."

  • We got our weekly mention from that cock in the NS
  • Please don't give him the publicity he desperately craves.
  • Why are we still talking about this and not our 6-0nil win instead, who cares unless they get a big point deduction/fine
  • I think incidents like this will lead to more and more early kick-offs.

The chances of boozed up fights are a lot less at a 12.15 kick off than one at 5.15, it's as simple as that.

We've subsequently learned he still lives at home with his dear old mum and he loves her lots so that makes it ok.
