  • Re-tweet from NS saying hes been offered Wolves job
  • Phil knew....

  • Kenny Jackett has done an excellent job for Millwall and they'll be very hard pressed to find a replacement of his calibre. I tend to agree that he'd just had enough of all their baggage.

I think that Jackett's exit makes Chris Powell the 20th longest serving manager amongst the 92 League clubs - an appalling statistic, given that he's only been in charge for 2 years and 4 months ! Let's hope that he eventually makes it into the top 5.
  • A seemingly nice man at a club where the 'supporters' will eventually s**t (not sit) on their own doorsteps once too often. I wish him good fortune elsewhere except if and when his team play against CAFC
  • I'll get my coat hmm i mean jacket ;-)
  • If Jackett does join Wolves as predicted I can see them getting promotion next season.
  • Latest SkyBet odds for the next Millwall manager: 1-2 Kim Jong - Un; 7-1 Owen Coyle; 8-1 Dean Saunders, Karl Robinson; 10-1 Darren Ferguson, Dennis Wise, Gary Johnson; 20-1 Alan Curbishley.

Kenny jackett was absokutely livid with the attitude of the fans to hulse this made him question whether or not the millwall intimidating to away fans atnosphere had spilled over into an issue for his club and his team

With the philpott stuff anyone with kids or nieces and nephews or a milimeter of decency can see that this incident highlighted not the media is against us mentality but to an actual mentality of the supporters involved have now gone past what can be defended

For the players smudge mentioned you could throw in many successes of the loan system

    Wood
    Lowton
    The full back from spuds

Yes you have bad ones every team does we have shown that ourselves

Do i think he had lostvthe dressing room no i dont think that

I think he had lost the will the heart abd the desire to continue there

In fact sunday i was told as much from someone close to their club so i realky was nit surprised and it happend quicker than i thought it would

I really thought that attempts to keep him wouldve been harder and longer involved
  • Kenny Jackett managed to get Millwall playing as a team and a tight unit on a relatively low budget. When they lost their leading goal scorers, Morrison and Woods they have struggled.

Millwall will struggle without KJ. Not a great season for them.

It would be great to see Dean Saunders in there to complete a treble of relegating 3 champs clubs in three consecutive seasons, Dennis Wise as he and Millwall deserve each other - and Poyet was clearly the brains at Leeds. Karl Robinson is similarly unpleasant and would be a great match for Millwall.

All three of the above could easily take them down to league one.

Why do you think Robinson is unpleasant?

I agree with NLA. He looked down in the last few weeks. I think he was embarassed/ashamed of their fans & sick of having to defend them, when they were destroying all his hard work.

I admired Jackett before & even more so now. I hope they get a right dud to replace him.
  • Mate I know it's true honest he was really really upset with an incident with Hulse

I think something happend around the ground after the booing in which Hulse or his family were targeted for some form of abuse this then ment rob Hulse would not return for them at a time they had no strikers

Wembleys behaviour ashamed him and put the club back years

And this weekend would have just confirmed it
  • He won 3 league games this year, 2 @ home and 1 away.

    thanks. where are my pills

  • Just had a peek at a Millwall forum out of morbid curiosity and they or at least some of them think Neil Warnock or Eddie Howe are favourites. You couldn't make it up.

I think they would go for someone like that Scottish twat who as at Crawley a few seasons ago.

    Steve Evans?

    Just gone up with rotheram.
  • Here's hoping they get a right twat in charge.
  • Just looking at their forum and my word are they having a good at the chief executive. It seems he is a disease hurting their club hahahaha. He has been on the radio saying they dont need a new manager until the players return for pre- season training!
  • Can only wish bad things on that shower. They deserve the worst choice possible. Neil Wanker might get some good out of them so here's hoping its not him.
  • I'll manage Millwall . I reckon Ronnie Corbett could be the striker they need and I have a few more radical ideas for them if I get offered the job.

Not really. He was a decent coach under Curbs, just not a manager!

I think Julian Clary and Ironside could work well as a solid centre-back pairing, which would mean Warwick Davis wouldn't be called upon often in goal. Full backs Stephen Hawking and Godfrey out of Dad's Army complete a very intimidating defence.

Don't be stupid - Arnold Ridley (Godfrey) died in 1984. Are you trying to scupper their chances? I'll give you the benefit as the others are decent calls.
  • Is there anyone out there who could really take them forward.dont think theres any hope for that mob.

And they'd still turn us over.

    This

we could be top of the prem on 100 points with them bottom of the ryman league, meet them in the cup and they'd still get a result.
    :-(

Yes, Davis would probably play a stormer and Clary would probably nick the winner in injury time.
