Trotter gone to Blackburn on a free? Chance would be a fine thing. I think you'll find that the majority of Millwall fans would drive him to Blackburn and not even charge him for petrol! I think you mean Chris Taylor. Wants to go back up north, and for what he's being paid, missing 20 games a season through injury isn't worth it. Good player, but no great shakes.
As for managers, there's some proper cobblers being sounded out. I'd like to see us try and get Uwe Rosler or Sean Dyche (whoever it was above who said Millwall fans hate SD is talking out of their arsehole!). Alex Mcleish was interviewed today apparently, but I reckon that broke down upon being told that his transfer budget for next season is about £6.99. As for the likes or Warnock, Di Matteo (?!?!), Marc Bircham. Do me a favour!
Unfortunately, it's looking bleak for us next season. Our Cheif Exec seems to think it's perfectly ok to wait until about a month from the start of the season to get someone in. We've been letting players go left, right, and center without a manager in place. Keeper and defence is ok. Could do with another left/center mid, and two strikers. Can't see anything but relegation for us, unless someone comes in and performs a minor miracle.
So, charge your glasses. It's the news you were all hoping for. We're in the shit. I'll be sending a truckload of Kleenex round to Charlton Life Towers for you to use how you see fit at news of our imminent demise. This of course will not affect the now customary 4 points we'll take off you next season.
Thankyouplease.

I'm filling up, Groucho ! You sure know how to tug on the heart strings...
Sympathy? Yeah, right. The only emotion towards Millwall that you lot need to concern yourself is one of relief in knowing that in two seasons time you won't be walking away from a Millwall/Charlton fixture thinking "do I go into work on Monday, or shall I hang myself now?".
Seeing as the last season I actually enjoyed was the 09/10 year we got promoted, i'm not all that fussed. Better away days, that's for certain. I'd rather go down than go up (which i guess is just as well!).

Great news. But I won't get my hopes up too much :-)
Former Liverpool defender Markus Babbel is set to be named as the new manager of Millwall. MailOnline understands the German is the choice to replace long-term Lion’s boss Kenny Jackett who resigned earlier this month after six seasons in charge at the New Den.
Babbel has been out of work since being fired by struggling Hoffenheim last December. But the 40-year-old has an impressive managerial history in his native country, having led Stuttgart to the Champions League in his first job before gaining promotion to the top flight with Hertha Berlin in his next post. Babbel was initially a huge success at Anfield after moving to Liverpool on a free transfer from Bayern Munich in 2000. The attack-minded right back was an integral part of Gerard Houllier side that won the historic treble of the League Cup, FA Cup and UEFA Cup in 2001, making 60 appearances for Liverpool in his first season.
However, Babbel’s career at Liverpool was blighted after he contracted the potentially life-threatening nerve disorder Guillain–Barre syndrome which ruled him out for almost a year. He went on to spend his final season in the Premier League on loan at Blackburn before returning to Germany with Stuttgart. Millwall had been linked with the likes of former England boss Steve McLaren, old boy Dennis Wise and Northampton Town manager Aidy Boothroyd, whose side missed out on promotion to League One after losing the play-off final to Bradford.
Very brave choice if true, a Championship manager normally needs to really know the lower leagues to be effective tactically and in the transfer market.
Solbakken with Wolves proved this, the Football League is not the Premier League.
Got Stuttgart into the Champions League in his first job, then dropped down a division and got Hertha Berlin promoted before taking Hoffenheim from nowhere to the top six of the Bundesliga. Don't like the sound of this at all. From some reason though he doesn't seem to hang around long anywhere he's been.

He was sacked from all three jobs.
Stuttgart and Berlin are big teams which should always be in Bundesliga I, while Hoffenheim were funded by Dietmar Hopp, the founder of SAP software and a billionaire, he didn't spend Hopp's money very effectively.
Strange groucho as I was at the Watford match when Graham destroyed you. Of course I know most millwall fans in the home end are more eloquent out their backsides, but when Dyche clapped the Millwall fans he was booed and filthy slandered. Talked to my friend afterwards who sits in that stand and he said he was disgusted at the moronic reaction. I know many of the areas of your ground are full of moronic reactionary hypocrites, let's hope babbel whom i like doesn't get told to fuch off after a few matches.
Good appointment for both parties. Wolves can't get any worse and will have a strong budget next season. Jackett is a decent manager and has despite criticism performed more than admirably at Millwall.

Hopefully this will turn out as well for them as Solbakken did at Wolves
Just googled "The Tower of Babel"
Some chronicles state that said tower did not "come a tumbling down" as some may think but that "the middle was left standing to erode over time "...
Sounds like the rusting Toolbox to me !

Expect to see Wolves back with us in 2014/15.
