I watched FL show this morning and Blackburn looked really good going forward against Bolton. I know its £10m they are talking about, but they could be outside chance of promotion this season with a settled manager/squad.

We're in the same (football, not financial) league as middle of the road clubs willing to spend £4m on a striker.

Just goes to show that Powell and the squad deserve credit for just keeping us in it.

But how can Boro justify a £4m spend within FFP? Their crowds are probably similar to ours, and general revenue generation as such cannot be significantly more. In addition, their wage bill (Woodgate etc) must be significantly more than ours.
