  • 9 matches and four months.

That means 9 international matches i take it?
  • I suppose if you come from a country with no class you shouldn't expect too much!

So you're writing a whole country off on the basis of one scummy individuals behaviour, or even a team of them for that matter?
    or a whole profession

Door-to-door salesman in general tbh but especially those that specialise in selling overpriced, unsuitable disability aids to the elderly in their houses.

Uruguay will already be scrambling to set up as many quick friendlies as possible, joke decision.
  • I think this is much was than what Cantona did and what Ferdinand didnt do. I cannot get my head round why FIFA are such pussies
  • got to be 9 competitive internationals surely.

I don't think they even need to go through a qualification for the Copa America do they??

It is a piss take decision but pleases me that Liverpool have been f*cked over in some way.

Yet another nail in the coffin of football as we know it.

FIFA should be ashamed. 4 months.......you have to laugh.
  • 4 months is quite a hefty ban tbf from all football activities.
  • Not good enough

4 months is quite a hefty ban tbf from all football activities.

Not when you've just been found guilty of biting an opponent for a 3RD TIME.

  • Be interesting to see what the bin dippers do.

Do they sell him now for a cut price and try to use the money wisely in the window, or do they hold out and wait for him to come back in November?
  • Disgusting but no surprise FIFA have lost their bottle. Ridiculous.

  • Very happy with how FIFA have handled this. That punishment is both severe and appropriate in my opinion.

And not when there is no football activity for 2 months, lets face it Uruguay would probably be out in a week then there is a massive gap till prem starts anyway
  • He has been banned for 34 matches since 2010 without a red card.

I think I've seen he's not back until Nov so maybe the all football ban is from start of Prem season?

4 month ban from now would be 26th October
  • he'll only earn £4m before he kicks a ball again

Of course they won't .. ASHAMED BY NOTHING

  • Suarez's first match back for Liverpool could be in round four of the Capital One Cup, with matches due to take place in the week commencing 27 October.

Was his first game back last year not against Man Utd in the Capital one Cup
  • Not enough but frankly more action than I was expecting FIFA to take.
  • Not even sure they could sell him, he's banned from all administrative activities involving football which could include signing contracts.

    Liverpool are stuck with him.

Fifa have confirmed he can be transferred so what an administrative ban entails I've no idea.

Will liverpool fans be happy with this in a funny kind of way?

Less likely to get that madrid/barca transfer now.

    Hes trapped!
  • can he not go to the training ground either as that would be a football activity
  • He has to train by himself apparently.
  • He has to train by himself apparently.

Is that part of the ban or are Liverpool worried he might take a bite out of one of their players

I take it you've not been then?
Up there with Chile and Argentina in terms of prosperity, ranked 59th in recent world economy rankings, it's a beautiful place full of class.

Suarez, by contrast, is truly a nasty low-life moronic cretin, and does a massive dis service to his country of birth.
