Failing to fulfil fixtures of a season that, technically, never happened!

Eleven National League clubs have lost their appeals against sanctions imposed on them for failing to fulfil fixtures last season due to Covid-19.

Dover Athletic, who had their results expunged after not playing beyond January, will be deducted 12 points next season and fined £40,000.

I was convinced that Stockport would be the team to go up .. I am now unconvinced lol .. hard to choose between Harts and Torqs .. will be the usual taut play off to get back to the prestigious EFL

Very disappointed that Stockport lost but they had an off day. I think Torquay will win.
  • Like Torquay and Hartlepool so very happy one of them will go up.

How else will the FA Board be able to afford to buy champagne for their boardroom?  These small clubs should stop whinging.
  • I like Hartlepool as a club - deserve some success.

Watching the Play-Off Final on BT Sport, where the Monkey Hangers have got their noses in front against Torquay.

A cracking, end-to-end game, with plenty of goalmouth action and an antidote to possession without purpose, which we’ve seen in a couple of the Euro games recently (Spain being the arch exponents).

It’s being played at Ashton Gate, also the venue for yesterday’s pulsating Premiership Quins v Bristol semi-final.

    KEEEEPEEEEERRRR!
  • Amazing scenes. The Torquay keeper heads home in the 95th minute to take it to extra time!

    Unbelievable Jeff !

Fully deserved for Torquay, who’ve dominated the second half and had two goals disallowed.

    what a fabulous game

I play for Torquay's walking football team and like the idea of being (an old fat bloke) playing for a league team, just like @Coyotejohn1947 at Exeter City.

Played against Torquay former players in my late teens at a holiday camp 5 aside weekly fixture back in the late sixties. We were knackered at half time chasing the ball whilst they were letting the ball do the work, not surprisingly we came second 😏.

Because the hard nut Torquay sub didn't want to go off with his deep cut to his leg Hartlepool managed to regroup and the game will go either way now. 9 minute break helped the pool.
