  • so thats the last 64 for the 3 events hopefully I will be able to follow it abit easier now as well as we are getting to the nitty gritty now.

Still 3 chances for players like
    Robbie McGuigan
    Michael White
    Brian Ochoiski
    Lee Walker
    Florian Nussle
Stephen Craigie(would be great to have him as a pro the same time as his brother)

    Only 2 chances for
    Thor Chuan Leong
    Ben Mertens
    Alfie Burden
    Wu Yize
    Oliver Lines

    Only 1 chance for
    Michael Georgiou
    Chen Feilong
    Harvey Chandler
    Adam Duffy
    Chris Totten

Kishan Hirani failed in his attempts

  • Apologies for the lack of updates

Trump currently 9-6 up over Yan Bingtao
  • World Championship

    Result

    Mark Williams 13-11 Stuart Bingham
  • Is Trump playing well or has Bingtao been rubbish?
  • Paulie with Q school is it just the winners qualify?
  • Paulie with Q school is it just the winners qualify?
4 semi finalist of each event qualify

Josh Thomond beat Fang Xiongman 4-2 in the last 64 I see, 3 wins away from a tour card now

    Mark Selby 10-10 Noppon Saengkham
  • World Championship
    2nd Round
    1st Session

    Jamie Clarke 6-2 Anthony McGill
  • World Championship
    Round 2
    Result

    Mark Selby 13-12 Noppon Saengkham

    Phew I can breathe

From 9-10 behind Selby played some brilliant snooker to go 12-10 up, like he played when he won his world titles, then Noppon came back to 12-12, but 1 mistake from Noppon in the final frame and a brilliant century got the job done
  • Another great match. Selby was more like his old self.
  • Another great match. Selby was more like his old self.
He has been working with Chris Henry the last month or so I believe, so hopefully that will help him
  • World Championship
    Round 2
    1st Session(mid session interval)

    Ding Junhui 3-1 Ronnie O'Sullivan
  • World Championship
    Round 2
    1st Session

    Ronnie O'Sullivan 4-4 Ding Junhui

Important final frame from Ding who lost all 3 frames after the interval before that
  • Trump struggling against Yan, who is letting him off the hook.

  • World Championship

    Judd Trump 13-11 Yan Bingtao
  • Thats three 2nd round matches complete

    13-12
    13-11
    13-11

What a World Championships we are having, lets hope it continues in this way
  • In regards to Q School

I was hoping to put the quarter final matches and semi final matches on here, unfortunately there is still no update even tho the quarter final matches were supposed to start at 5pm lol(in fact we still dont know the full line up for the quarter final as one of the previous matches we dont have a result for) thats how bad the scoring is for Q School this year lol.

I can confirm Alfie Burden, Robbie McGuigan, Rory Mcleod, Stephen Craigie, Sam Baird, Hammad Miah and Josh Thomond are all out of Q School 1.

    The quarter final is

    Lee Walker vs Jamie Jones
    Simon Blackwell vs Ben Mertens
    Patrick Wallace vs John Astley
Peter Devlin vs Thor Chuan Leong
    Farakh Ajaib v Leo Fernandez
Robert James or Jamie Curtis-Barrett v Simon Lichtenberg
    Fan Zhengyi v Liam Graham
    Michael White v Antoni Kowalski

So all of those players are or were 2 wins away from a 2 year tour card, they have probably won it by now, we just dont have the results yet lol

    Q School
    Last 16
    Results

    Lee Walker 4-1 Jamie Jones
    Simon Blackwell 4-0 Ben Mertens
    John Astley 4-0 Patrick Wallace
Peter Devlin 4-2 Thor Chuan Leong
    Leo Fernandez 4-1 Farakh Ajaib
    Simon Lichtenberg 4-0 Robert James
    Fan Zhengyi 4-1 Liam Graham
    Michael White 4-3 Antoni Kowalski

Gutted that Mertens and McGuigan are out of Q School 1, but McGuigan still has 2 more chances and Mertens has 1 more opportunity
  • seems like its not just a issue with getting results, but is actually an issue with starting matches and there are some matches that have still not started.

Was always going to be an issue playing 4 rounds in 1 day
  • So the final Q School Event 1 matches are all underway 4 winners will earn a 2 year tour card

     Lee Walker v Simon Blackwell

    John Astley v Peter Devlin

    Leo Fernandez v Simon Lichtenberg

    Fan Zhengyi v Michael White
  • Fan Zhengyi 4-2 Michael White

Fan Zhengyi the 19 year old from China who dropped of the tour this season is straight back on and has another chance to make a name for himself with a 2 year tour card.

Michael White still has 2 opportunities to qualify
  • Peter Devlin 4-2 John Astley

I gotta be honest I don't know much about Peter he is 23 and from East London, his first time on the pro tour and looking forward to seeing how he gets on

John Astley has 1 more opportunity in Q School 3
  • Lee Walker 4-1 Simon Blackwell

Prepare for some long games on tour next year Lee Walker has regained his tour card, like Fan Zhengyi he only dropped of at the end of this season
  • Simon Lichtenberg 4-1 Leo Fernandez

Again like Fan Zhengyi and Lee Walker this is an immediate return to the tour for Simon

Leo has 1 more opportunity in Q School 2
