Just checked out their website. Some interesting stuff. I may try and get some of their ales in if I can find a wholesaler who deals with them.

Cheers dude 8 artists in total, 2000 bottles between us. It's not a huge earner, but a nice bit of promo. I've had a craft beer company from Miami in the last few days, so it deffinitely works

Made my first visit to One Inn The Wood in Petts Wood recently.

I can highly recommend. Local beers and local grub in a traditional environment.

If Chirpy's place is half as good it will be well worth a visit.

The One Inn the Wood is run by my ex-City colleague Barry Bridge, we used to sit next to each other at BGC and Tulletts. I was so inspired by the Tankerton Arms after my visit last year I convinced him to do the same as me and leave the Money Markets and open a Micropub. We both left our firm together and started work on our respective projects in January. He took over a former Wine Bar so didn't have to go through the long winded process of planning permission and licencing. He opened in May and has been doing very well. I have helped him out and worked a number of shifts there. It is indeed a great Micropub and I have already recommended it on here.
Next time you're in there Len let Barry or Sarah know that you're an acquaintance of mine.........

Good news, the bishop's finger is a short one.

Terrific picture, Stig: love the typography and graphic designs of the labels. And then there's the ale. Enjoy!

Marston's Pedigree - the tutor at a beer-tasting session told us that the distinctive sulphurous aroma of Marston's beers is known in the trade as "the Burton snatch".

Black Sheep and Ghost Ship my favourites from that lot...enjoy.

Three of us anaesthetised the pain of George's miss with London Pride in the Blackheath Standard. Rugby and football were being shown, and the place was busy and boisterous. Three or four beers from microbreweries are usually on, and the consistently high quality is acknowledged by Camra including the pub in its Good Beer Guide. The Pride served here has a depth of flavour rarely found, and I asked the guvnor his method: Two weeks in the cellar to acclimatise fully, then a further two days after tapping before it's ready. Many pubs don't allow all that time in the cellar for secondary fermentation and serve the beer 'green'; the taste is accordingly thinner, less deliciously rounded.

The Pride of Spitalfields in Heneage Street, just of Brick Lane, also has an expert cellarman, an old boy who has been tapping Fuller's London Pride and ESB for donkey's years. The Crouch Vale Brewers Gold served here is quite gorgeous; one quiet Saturday afternoon a while back I popped in for the one and stayed for four...

Am looking forward to the opening of The Long Pond. I made my first visit to a micropub on Saturday: The Paper Mill is a former paint supplies shop on a terraced street corner, five minutes' walk from Sittingbourne station. It comprises just one small simply furnished room: a dozen punters was a crowd, so we perched on a ledge in the corridor until space was free. Very friendly owner, and convivial companions. Goacher's mild at £2.80 is a good price; my pal enjoyed Rooster's Buckeye, while I got stuck into the Dudda's Greenhorn Kentish cider: delicious and potent.

Will Chris Evans be bringing Billie Piper to the opening?

To be serious a decent piece.

The Broken Drum, Blackfen, is expected to open "early 2015", according to the local Camra branch. A preview here: http://www.thebrokendrum.co.uk/
