  • Don't underestimate the power of positive thinking. Take control of your emotions - nobody can make you feel a certain way - you decide how to react to what life throws at you.
  • Always be nice to the support staff (receptionists, lab techs, IT, security guards etc) where you work. It doesn't cost you anything, and they can save your arse or make things much more difficult for you.
