Played for Lewisham College as a youngster, according to Wikipedia. Obviously, desperate to get back to his happy old hunting ground of SE London.

No chance... He is class and actually plays for them

only played 8 games this season, was he injured or just not picked?

I'd love it but the only sources so far are FR and a dodgy twitter account (probably picked up on it from FR), we'll see.

    Deadline Day ‏@DeadlineDay 58m
Max Gradel of AS Saint-Étienne has edged closer to a loan move to Charlton. Could be wrapped up this afternoon. #cafc

Didnt he get sent off for diving against us when we beat Leeds 1-0 (season we finished 4th in League One?)

Wow ,I'm guessing its the Powell connection. This is an upgrade on Stewart IMHO.He is another one who played with SCP at Leicester.

Gradel & Jackson in - N'Guessan on loan and no others out (except maybe Gower and Hollands) - that would be acceptable.
  • Options
Would be very happy with Gradel. I thought he was going back to Leeds though. But as they've signed Stewart now, who knows we may be in with a chance.

Max Gradel - It's got to be true, it's on Wikipedia ;)

Already offers rejected from Hull, Stoke and Leeds.

How will we pull this one off?

If this is true and Stoke, Hull and Leeds are in for him we have zero chance of landing him.

so they have rejected offers from Stoke, Hull and Leeds but he will join us on loan. Rightho.

He did play with SCP at Leicester and many have already come here through that connection.

No chance seeing he's up @ York at the moment lol!

CAFC signing (so far) a few Belgian apprentices does not fill me with too much optimism

Lincs I much prefered the old days as a Charlton supporter when the club would always give us the mushroom treatment, they would keep us in the dark & heap shit on us - oh on second thoughts they may still be doing it.

We now only have 1 Standard Liege loan space.

With Solly looking to be injured and in my view Wilson gives us a better balance in RM ,I think a new right back or a utility CB / RB is a priority.

Tal Ben Haim would fit the bill from Liege in my view, but if it is a specialised RB is needed what about resigning Fraser Richardson or loaning Adam Smith from Spurs?

I doubt Solly is looking to be injured. ;-)

    An economical player.

Max Gradel's wiki has changed to say that he now plays for us.

I know that anyone can change wiki though
