If you were Dale would you not just wait until the end of the season when you free to speak to any club? He's been wanting to move up North, if that's what he still want's it would make sense to wait.
Here is what @svenclaes has to say on Ghoochannejhad "He hasn't played for several months, so #CAFC have to give him time." Richard Cawley @RichCawleySLP 2m "He had one good season at #STVV. Don't expect miracles."
Apparently he's played really well for the Iranian national team, with whom he is going to Brazil with! 6 goals in 6 consecutive matches
Wouldn't get too excited. Karim Bagheri score 50 goals in 87 appearances for Iran, bit easier banging them in against Lebanon, Oman and Singapore than it is against Championship sides.
I saw Bagheri play at Ipswich? and a number of ressie games and he was a decent player. Didn't get his chance I think because Curbs was ultra cautious, and we had a healthy squad.
I'm still not convinced Dale will actually go to Brighton.
I don't have a problem with it as it's their job, but we run the risk of looking deluded if we believe that any of these players are motivated by anything other than money!
I dont think Stephens is going because of the money... He's probably looking at it himself thinking a few things
(1) No Premier League side has come in for me since Villa (2) Brighton are 8th in the League / Charlton are 22nd in the League so Brighton stand more chance getting into the top flight at present (3) My Contract is running out and if I get a serious injury before then end then I'm screwed.
I hate to say this as well but I think its not motivated by money but more by ambition... Yes in handful of years the RD vision at Charlton could have been fulfilled and we could be above Brighton, nor... It may not happen and he's sacrificed his career because of that
@RichCawleySLP: Rhoys Wiggins been offered four-and-a-half-year contract by #cafc. Set to stay.
For me that's the one that matters, don't get me wrong, Yann is quality and almost talismanic but if the board don't want to offer him a longer deal its understandable, it sadly makes sense for the board to get money from a deal for him. That said I hope he turns down Bournemouth.
Stephens has been on good form of late but has been unsettled for a while, if we can get good money would be stupid not to take it.

"I want move up north.. Brighton sounds alright... Or should I try Bournemouth?"
More good news. I like today.
