I would love CMS! What a player he is at this level. Scores goals, great on the ball and generally causes defences all sorts of problems. Worth a punt!

I interviewed Craig Mackail-Smith last Wednesday. He's still 4-5 weeks away from action....and didn't mention anything in particular when I mentioned I was a CAFC fan.
I don't care what he dresses like, can't believe this could be possible. Chased by PSV and Everton, he has played more than 100 games for Club Brugges with a 1 in 3 goal ratio from the left wing. Two footed, very skilful, pacy and a free kick specialist, based on the 20 mins of footage i've just watched - lots and lots of footage on YouTube. It would be nice to dream this is he sort of talent Roland is about to bring in. Go check him out....

Lots of linking / rumour so far. The 18 year youth player seems good for the Under 21s, but doubtful if this is going to be sufficient to strengthen the team sufficiently.

Going to give Roland the benefit of doubt here. No harm in bringing these players in to bolster a threadbare squad. Pretty easy to negotiate with players you already own. Maybe the plan is to do these simple deals now in case some of the trickier ones, I.e non std liege ,don't get over the line in time. We are desperate for bodies after all.

If Thuram lives up to star billing then it might allow us to let Hamer go for a fee and Thuram will compete with Alnwick for the gloves. I would be annoyed if he plays today in front of Alnwick but I would pitch him in at Oxford and Huddersfield if we get that far.
Koc could replace Stewart in squad terms,I also hope for an upgrade in this area in the next two weeks,but he boosts our numbers.
As a left footer I see Asdarevic as an alternative to Jacko / Harriott and ideally it would be useful to have a more direct left footed winger as well to supplement Callum.
I will upset some now because I would like to see Tal Ben Haim complete the Liege quartet.Following the news Cort is out for a longer period he would be ideal for us Ben Haim knows English football and has played almost exclusively in the Prem over the past 10 years. Crucially he can also cover right back so he could give us an option to rest Solly without moving Wilson.
