Morrison is going to Cardiff for 3 Months.RugbyAddick said:Sam Allarsyce to SSN.
West Ham United manager Sam Allardyce is preparing to loan out those on the fringes of his plans, with Championship suitors being sought.
The likes of Ravel Morrison and Diego Poyet are expected to be heading out of Upton Park in the near future.
Poyet is heading for the championship, won't be us because you can't have your cake and eat it,
we all had a laugh at his youthful indiscretions about west ham, Carroll, and downing which we helped to circulate,
(or some CAFC people did)
So where will he go? and if he turns up say, atMillwallIpswich will he get a good reception back at the valley ?

I wouldn't boo him but wouldn't cheer him.
He played half a season and decided to chip off for more money. Certainly has not done enough to warrant either (cheer or boo) in my opinion. We got a little bit of money, and even though it was a pittance compared to what we should've got, he did always perform when we wore the shirt.
I just want to forget as much as possible from that last season.
Would've loved Morrison on loan. Why Cardiff?1 -

Could it be to keep him out of the country until his court case.
Big Sam have arranged a border control.

I like the way that criticism of West Ham has been added to the list of 'not to be spoken about subjects' as to not upset @uncle
Stay classy

Starts against United.
What a rubbish move...4 -
Fair play, hope he does well.0

Going to be extremely harsh here but I think Diego could've done better in the build up to both of United's goals there...5

Still don't understand the hate for Poyet. Maybe if we knew he was good we should have offered him new contract six or twelve months earlier rather than wait till he put in the performances he did at the end if his agreed time with us.

Don't think that's harsh at all. He couldn't even keep up with the lumbering Rooney to block off the option of a ball to him. Off the pace.Callumcafc said:Going to be extremely harsh here but I think Diego could've done better in the build up to both of United's goals there...

Maybe we did but he was never going to agree to a longer deal.MrOneLung said:Still don't understand the hate for Poyet. The sour grapes on here is so funny
everyone has said he will be lucky if he gets on the bench and wont play a game, he starts at Old Trafford and all people say is he played poor, lets just be honest he left us and instead of playing at home to Boro yesterday he was starting at Old Trafford which if he had stayed with us he could of waited years to do, so he has advanced his career by moving12 -
Spot on Paulie.
Some are starting to look a bit silly now.4 -
Struggling to see any hate for Poyet on this page of the thread myself. Just because he's ex-CAFC golden boy doesn't mean he's immune to criticism and I actually hope he improves and does well. It will be of benefit to my club.
Just calling how I saw the West Ham game based on MOTD, I hope that's okay with you. He was off the pace for the first goal as @cafcfan mentioned and for the second goal, his positioning was well below par. These small details wouldn't usually be costly in the Championship but he's a Premier League player now and that comes with extra scrutiny.3 -
I think there's a difference between hating him and not necessarily wanting to keep hearing about him. I split up with my missus a year ago. She's a lovely woman and I wish her the best, but I don't want to know about her sex life.5

Me too. And I'd have a little bet that the people that keep bumping this thread every time are the ones that want to take a dig at the kid for having his head screwed on.oohaahmortimer said:

Pleased Poyet got a game, not least because it means we'll be collecting our first appearance related instalment from the Happy Hammers. Long may it continue.1
