As we are sharing our journey woes:

    - Didn't even bother going to Eltham station as trains we fucked.

    - Waited to get 132, but couldn't get on any that went past as they didn't even stop.

    - Decided to try 161, went one stop and got off as traffic was going no where.

    - Went to station and couldn't get on train that did come as to packed. However train came straight afterwards with no one on which was nice.

    - Think I saw KM on platform 7 at London Bridge.

Can't wait until I can cycle again.

Sounds about right from the time of your post.

Given up, working from home now.

The rescue train arrived. But it wasn't able to pull the broken down train. So we all had to leave the broken down train and get on the rescue train. The broken down train could still be there! Got back to Sevenoaks 2 hours 20 minutes after leaving Sevenoaks.

The old wrong type of rescue train excuse.

I wonder if this morning's derailment in Lewisham is along the same stretch of track that the trains have been going slowly along for the past few weeks? Southeastern really need to sort out their sub-contractors.

Just to point out again that Southeastern don't have anything to do with track or sub-contractors. This is done by Network Rail (which is basically the government).

Next you'll be telling us that by shouting and swearing at the bloke in the ticket office at Barnehurst I'm taking it out on the wrong person...
  • Looks like rush hour will be carnage, timetable appears to have been abandoned no information on the boards and staff have no knowledge. Sidcup line services to London terminating at Sidcup then going back to Dartford with nothing from London coming down to Sidcup. It's taken me 90 mins to go Greenhithe to Sidcup now having to backtrack to Dartford. The lack of information is the problem, no one knows what's happening

i dont see how in this day and age more isnt done about these cunting rail companies.
  • Not much running from Cannon Street. Have gone to Charing Cross, on advice on the Cannon Street pa that Orpington and Tonbridge trains won't be running from Cannon Street. Not much running at Charing Cross, though I am on a train at platform 4 that's currently advertised as going to Tonbridge.

In short, the people in charge are more concerned with their own careers and what's best for the political party they represent then negotiating something which benefits the poor sods who have to put up with this shit all year, every year.

KM ! On platform 7 at LB,That's not news. KM under platform 7 would arouse more interest !

OMG am I now one of the Trolls saying nasty things about her.
  • Went to Victoria hoping to get the 16:30 towards Orpington only to see it cancelled. But as luck would have I got on train running around 20 odd minutes late at 16:12 and in went fast, (well didn't stop), till Orpington.
This morning a non stopper to Blackfriars.
I'm hoping for a derailment every day.

I suspect, given the nature of this thread, that the train was late - he got on at Blackpool in 1972 but it took two years to get to Chesterfield.

Dartford station empty this morning. On a fast train down the Woolwich line to London Bridge - about 4 people on the carriage as we get to Charlton. Simples.

Think people have thought "sod it"
