Here's a good one. The 05.17 from Tunbridge Wells ran on time. Slight problem though. No one turned up to unlock the station gates. So the 50 poor sods who get this train have just had to stand outside the station watching the train leave. Next train is in half an hour, diverted to Victoria, of course.
Oh well, another day of not getting to,work until 11am :-(
Could be worse mate. I jumped on the Sidcup line shuttle to Dartford and am on a Victoria train to Lewisham. Unfortunately, it's Bexleyheath line service, will have to check that my innoculations are up to date.

If you've got an infectious disease you should go via slade green
Anyone who uses cannon st, platforms 1-3 are out of action due to signal failure, already looks like the staff are having a crisis meeting and preparing for the worst
Just got here and thankfully the Bexleyheath train is at platform 4 and on time
Word to everyone make sure you get your delay repay claims in. I've already had half of mine from this week approved (turnaround time for this is usually 2 weeks) and with one of them I was over-compensated - they sometimes overpay when delays are prolonged over a series of days. I'd guess all remotely valid claims from this week will be approved without question, and reasonably quickly.
I was waiting at Bexleyheath yesterday for a Cannon Street train. Had a right touch being able to take time back and was due to start work at 4. Waiting at Bexleyheath, the 15:00 CX service and 15:10 Cannon Street service were showing as delayed. Then out of nowhere, the board shows a 15:51 service to Cannon Street, arrived at Bexleyheath at 15:07...
The 7:45 Blackfriars (after the 7:35 Cannon St was cancelled) from Petts Wood was absolutely mobbed by Chislehurst and was more than a crush at Grove Park.
Going back to the 'derailment week'. I've now had all my delay repays confirmed for that week. Without exception, for claims of 30-59 minutes and 60-119 minutes on Tues 24th (derailment day) through to Friday 27th Southeastern have doubled my payouts for every claim. My pro-rata season ticket cost is £90 a week and for that week I've had £100 back. Given that Southeastern's compensation amounts are formula-based anyone else claiming should expect to get their pro-rata weekly season ticket cost back. Figures are based on my delay repay claims being 5 x 60-119 minutes and 1 x 30-59 minutes.
So even if you don't normally bother claiming I'd suggest its well worth it for that week.

I put 4 various claims in, I got £38 back. Quite pleased with that, I wasn't really inconvenienced that much.

Thats pretty good. I've got a z2-5 gold card. Because no trains were running from Petts Wood (z5), or any on the Orpington line come to that, I had no choice but to use St Mary's Cray (z6). I'm assuming I wont get that money back. Likewise when no trains stop at New Cross or Lewisham and I cant get the overground or DLR respectively and end up at London Bridge or Cannon Street, I don't get the money back for travelling in z1 or then having to get a tube across London. Absolute pain in the arse.
True, you can only claim with the options they give you in their webform. In this position I'd put in a series of claims for 60-119 minutes and state the reason for claim as 'Journey abandoned'. You'll get the right compo, all be it for the wrong reasons. They know the trains were abysmal that week, I'd be shocked if any claim is denied.
Not sure but I'd get in quick. I submitted mine last Monday and got a message yesterday saying that due to high volume, they've put the response time back from 10 to 20 days.
Hmm, I put in a 1hr+ delay claim for the Tues - Fri and just realised the Mrs gave me a lift to work on the Wed morning. Haven't yet claimed for any of the journeys home which I should do.

Good old Southeastern, I knew they turn thing around.
Walked to Bexleyheath this morning (was actually a nice fresh walk). Only downside was having to get on the train with the great unwashed.
What an ordeal.
I think it may be The Crayford Signal Problem (sounds like a Christie Novel)
Wonder if the Network Rail Twitter Account is based in Barnsley?

Processing time once the claim goes in, approx 2-4 weeks for it to hit your bank account
