I still think there's a good chance we'll win but I really thought that we should have enforced the follow on yesterday. I know the theory of deteriorating conditions can make batting on later days even more difficult but our bowlers, well Batty anyway, were in the groove, wouldn't have been tired and Somerset were struggling. Surrey's score showed that batting was tough for the rest of the day and it could be that the wicket flattens later. There again, I'm sure Batty knows more than me!0

Clearly there was more going on behind the scenes than I thought. He has always been a very good player and I am now glad he is back in the game andaging well.
I never said I wanted him to leave just that I wouldn't be surprised if he went to find game time elsewhere.0 -
