The closest I have ever seen to a triple dead heat was the 1985 1000 Guineas, won by Oh So Sharp.iaitch said:That would've been a new one on me, a race where no one finishes.
Also has there ever been a triple dead heat?
Every time I see a video of the finish I still can't believe that she got up to win.1 -

My memory might be playing tricks on me, but I seem to recall a three or four runner chase where all four fell but one of the jockeys managed to keep hold of the reins and remounted, only to fall again!0 -

I think banning remounting a horse in a race is one of the best rule changes of recent times.1 -
AP McCoy won on Family Business after falling. He was the only finisher in what was a seven-runner race with three re-mounting.2

Wow, Isaac Des Obeaux at 28/1 for Paul Nicholls and Sam T-D take the Midlands Nat.
It's a sign of how testing that was that Neo King looked booked for 4th but was PUd just before 2 out - credit to Ben Jones.
Rock My Way in 2nd (8L) ran a mighty race from the front with topweight
Git Maker 3rd (Nk)
Grand Albert 4th (detached)
Not quite breakeven for me but 4 weeks today hopefully we'll land the big fish ........ and the odd minnow
Early form of that Haydock GNT (in which Top Of The Bill was close 2nd) is looking respectable if not spectacular (Git Maker and Grand Albert representing, as did Monbeg Genius 3rd in the Kim Muir): 6 runs, 0 wins, 3 places.

Always loved the Midlands Grand National since I went to Uttoxeter in 1991, after a week at Cheltenham, to see Bonanza Boy win the race under topweight.
Lovely course.1
