Exactly my point. We obviously offered more in wages so Tours are helpless if anyone offers HIM less.

Its also about that the stage and exposure he will get in the championship. His head is already in SE7 and Tours no that.

The double wages thing sounds like utter garbage.


I'm not naive enough to think he loves Charlton but there are several reasons we are an attractive proposition and I fully expect him to sign this month.

Or perhaps you are sharing what you have been asked to share in order to speed things along. This is not the Duchatelet way of doing things that we have seen to date. I can wait until the 31st to see how this pans out. As KM stated they would prefer to buy two players and develop them rather than develop someone elses players... but that doesn't rule out a loan.
My view is that we have a big enough squad to get through the next few games but it needs to get bigger AND improve to get us through to January. Lets see how we do this afternoon but any points on the board today and next Saturday and we might be looking at how to stay in the top six over the next few months which is a very different place to be compared to being mid-table or "avoiding relegation" which is the only stated aim so far.

I have been going on to his old man for 2 days about how Shit Wigan is but to no avail...

There is another issue it seems and the wages aren't the major issue.

His agent was at Charlton yesterday and for some reason we will not give him a copy of the contract we have offered. Wigan and Wolves both have.

Why we wouldn't give him a copy of it I have no idea but that seems to be an issue.

Also RD is still very interested in buying Tours apparantly
