    Sacked!

    That's spoilt my Christmas. Another 6 or 7 games in charge and he would have left them in a hopeless position. Sadly, if they get the right man in there is still plenty of time to get out of the mess they are in.

    Pulis to return, I wonder?

    The QVC shopping channel are reporting live from outside the ground, although in truth Sainsburys are doing good deal on 32" plasma's so it could be about that. ;)

    Reported now after a story about a Hibs' player was finished.

    That was their 'Les Reed moment'. Now their 'Pardew moment' will hopefully follow...

    Never has a post been so funny, yet also so depressing.

    Marvellous late Christmas present.

    Why? Surely better for us if they'd kept him

    Was a shocking appointment in the 1st place.
    Will curbs be eying it up at this point? Had he still got something in him?

    Truly gutted. Was doing absolutely superbly.

    return for Dougie Freedman maybe

    That's a pity. He was doing a great job. I am probably alone in this but I always quite liked Warnock. Came across as genuine and I bet he'd be a good laugh in the pub. Useless manager though.

    Got Pep Guardiola written all over it.

    Close, but you may have mis-read it...they'd be better suited by a bottle of Pep-to Bismol!!

    Can't see anyone keeping Palace up. Whether you like watching Pulis or not his achievement last season was for me amongst the best in the Prems history. I couldn't think of another manager anywhere near capable of saving that squad.

    Would you want Charlton to swap places with them?

    Tbh I thought Parish may have waited to see what Colin did in the January window. But obviously not.
