Coady was at Liverpool I believe. Couldn't of done it without honing his defensive skills down at sparrows lane. where on a daily basis he was up against the likes of George Țucudean and Simon church.killerandflash said:

Said a few times on here before, but as long as he stays injury free for most of his career, he is going to be the best player to ever come out of our academy. Going to be top player and possibly considered world class one day.
He is 21 years of age playing regularly at a huge club alongside a top centre back. Many people would consider Ramos as the best centre back in the world, he is 32. Just imagine what Gomez could be in 5-10 years.9 -
Watched down my pub. 3 games on different screens. Decent perforomances from Gomez, Konsa and Ajayi, with Michael Smith making a nuisance of himself in the Championship also.2

I think Steve Brown would seriously have been up there with the best but for a yard or 2 of pace ..one of my favourites ever and of course Gomex wouldnt compare as a goalkeeper0

He's come on so much this year. While Liverpool strikers are probably only performing at 75% of last years level, the trio of Alisson Gomez and Van Dyke have made Liverpool a totally different side this year. Not sure if there is a better CH in England than Gomez at the moment.2

Not sure what DCL did to wind him up but Joe seems to be getting a tad more aggresive in his older age haha
