I hope they sell him. He's been there ages and never really cemented his spot due to injuries, but even when fit they didn't play him as much as they could/should.
Better off signing somewhere slightly smaller and playing every game, the money in the Prem is so big now he could go to a Newcastle, Brighton, Aston Villa etc and earn as much as he's getting at Liverpool, and end up in the World Cup squad.
As it stands, being 4th or 5th choice centre back and the emergency fullback cover at Liverpool won't get him on the plane to the US

He's not even the backup full back either, as Liverpool have 2 on either side ahead of him, and will replace Trent with another right back.
He does seem to love it there so I see him staying but agree that it would be great to see him move on and really push on,.establishing himself. My worry is that he will go to Palace to do it. They have European football to offer next season as well as a run out at Wembley in the Charity Shield.
