    I would rather see Gomez playing a bit part at Liverpool than a full part at Palace. Regardless of any "sell on" clause which has been talked about on here for years and will probably never materialise unless he signs an extension to the contract that he signed in 2022 - that takes him through to 2027 at which point Liverpool might let him go on a "free" anyway as a reward for 12 years service.

    Liverpool were approached by Milan but they were not letting him go.

    About the only good bit of business Katrien Meire did by putting in a decent sell-on fee to his sale to Liverpool and we'll probably never ever get to see any of it.
