Why do we bother with all the last day angst? Last days of the window are never good for us. I am glad it is all over.....is it time to open the January Rumours thread yet? Or should we have a loan one first?
When does the loan window start before the international break finishes(next Monday)?
They are not stupid they know we need another striker but was not going to spend on a deal that was not right.
I fully expect us to move quick in the loan window with a striker
yes its next Monday: Free agents can be signed by a club at any time during the season, if they had been released by their previous club before the end of the transfer window. A club can request to sign a player on emergency basis, e.g. if several goalkeepers are injured at the same time.In England, clubs from the Football League Championship to the Football Conference can loan in players from 8 September to 25 November and also from 8 February until 24 March. An existing loan deal can be made permanent at any time outside the transfer window.
When you look at Blackpool, it could be a lot worse.
They were more than desperate for players, and didn't bring anyone in either.
They brought in 17 players this window, I think they did enough business
True, but they were desperately still scrambling around for players yesterday and didn't get anyone in. I'm happy with Charlton's business. I think we are a striker short but the loan window opens soon anyway.

Do wonder who chose to sign them as it wouldn't have been Peeters. Euell would have obviously been aware of Ansah, but these two maybe not so much.
