Just read in the standard that our players told the high command that they wanted a manager with some experience in the championship or at least in english football. Doubt even they will give him 100% and he hasn't even managed a game yet.
The players brought in will probably not give a s***, thus a division in the squad also.
I don't think he is terrible but I don't see why we sacked Powell, Riga or peeters before him. Especially Riga and Powell, peeters was still good tho and just one bad run due to a thin squad and he is off, retarded logic.
How long before Duchatelet gets bored of him and appoints another reject from elsewhere round his empire. We are becoming as much of a laughing stock as Leeds
The way i see it the manager is a bit like a babysitter. I don't really care who they are, so long as they can do the job well. Clearly previous reputation can create some apprehension (hostility) at the beginning, but once they've started they get the benefit of the doubt until proven otherwise. If the kids (team) seem to be happy and it creates a harmonious atmosphere (good results), then everyone is happy. So Luzon starts with a clean slate and 100% support, BUT of course this figure can go down as well as back up.
Disagree @ValleyGary mainly because Luzon took more training before Watford than before Wolves, and Damian said they started according to Luzon's instructions against Watford. I can see why you call it your way, and I have given reasons why I call it mine.

He has been in charge for 1 game Seth stop being ridiculous

I'd be really pissed of if someone tried to foist a 5-0 defeat on my record when I'd been told that I'm not allowed to work. It's not a matter of opinion it's a matter of law - last weeks defeat was not Luzon's.
Second game under Luzon IMO, sounds like a much better performance, just because it was not legal does not suddenly make his ideas and training that the club and Damien Matthew confirmed not count from last week.
Pleased to see he learned from last weeks mistakes, a 5 goal tally improvement, so hopefully we keep this momentum going next week when we put 5 past Rotherham.

He had worked before he was told he wasn't allowed to though.

Sorry but that is just bollox. You wouldn't be saying that if Chris Powell had taken training and issued 'instructions'. Get behind the new bloke.

Get behind the new bloke huh? I have mentioned a positive from today on the post match thread, and I have consistently stated how much I am in synch with Luzon's statement 'I like to win, I don't like to lose'. I am not going to write him a supporting blank cheque just because he is the head coach at Charlton Athletic, as our new Alex Ferguson I expect wins, and then I will fully behind him.

If he wasn't in charge at Watford because of the formalities, then he was as much a non influence at Wolverhampton given the comparison of Sparrows Lane 'flying hours' since his stop start appointment. Maybe both results are down to Ben Roberts and Damian Matthews then? Maybe both results are down to Mr d or Ms M.
Or maybe the two matches we have played since his appointment (it was on the OS) are both down to him.

He has said in his post match interview tonight that he was in charge of only 1 training session before Watford..

yes, but bearing in mind, he wasn't legally allowed to be in charge of any, he could hardly say, it was all my own work, could he? Plus, he got off with a 0 - 5 drubbing in his first game.

Well, if we're quoting the official site, I'll take your "it was on the OS" and raise it with "First-Team Coach Damian Matthew and Goalkeeping Coach Ben Roberts took charge of the Addicks at Vicarage Road".

He got his Work Permit on Thursday... So, how many training sessions had he taken before Wolves? Surely one (Friday) at the most...?
Not meaning to argue, just pointing out that that probably isn't the best argument given you're crediting him for todays result.

I haven't credited him with anything.. just a bit funny how he seems to be on a hiding to nothing regardless

It was a bit like taking charge when the manager has a touchline ban. The manager was in the stands at Watford. Sorry, head coach.
No I'm not having it, If we had have lost today it would have either been "Luzon lost his 1st game or 2 defeats in a row blah blah blah"
He picks up a good point but yet it's not being credited to him? I'm sure if it was Powell it would be completely different.
Here some quotes from his interview
"To be honest with you, last week I only made one training. This week is the first week I’ve started to work, be with the team and know the players.
“We have players with fantastic character, intelligent players. Within two, three days, they’ve got the message. Of course we need to improve and continue".
Now that says to me this week he took training in build up to the game and we closed down Alot more today and seemed more organised.
I'm not saying he is the best thing since slice bread but give the guy some credit ffs far to many full grown men need to grow up on this forum.

It's 100% boredom and apathy from me.
All the best Guy!
One game, one point. No goals scored no goals conceded.
1 point per game.
