Depends if the other clubs paid what RD did in the first place for them.

I'm sure they went for more than the usual 5 bob that Roland pays.
  • I hate the sleight of hand way the club is being run. But I'm not sure Charlton fans would ever protest like Standard supporters. We'll just stop going.
  • Is protesting getting the Standard supporters anywhere? Just asking - I don't have any solutions, but I am not sure RD is taking much notice of the protesters.

Spot on with this. The only problem being that RD doesn't care if the team does well or not. It's all about showcasing his players to sell them on. Reza, Tucudean etc.. I imagine that means whatever division we may find ourselves in is also irrelevant.

Didn't see Reza or George do much in the way and of showcasing their talent
No, we didn't. But two other clubs saw enough to pay money for them. Which is the point.

I didn't write that. Odd it's shown up as my quote.
  • I have not read all comments, so excuse me if this has been said, but I have just seen Delort back to Tours on loan. The Tours owner must be laughing all the way to the bank
  • Player with both Prem league and Championship experience signed.

I agree. They did buy some players though and signed up a decent manager.

If true that Carlton Cole move to WBA is off does that mean we will make another move to get him on loan when the window opens

West Ham called it off as they couldn't get Adebayor in. They didn't want to be a striker down, so not sure why that would put us in the frame

  • the good news in that we didn't lose anyone other than George so we kept the few decent players that we have. Loan window opens so we must be looking I am sure and any striker that is available will get game time so I can see a young gun coming in
  • So is Johnson our final bit of business this season?
  • Is there a good striker out there without a club?.one we could get on loan next week maybe?.
  • I bloody hope so!
  • If a player hasn't got a club he can be signed anytime.

  • Colin next week we wait till?.
  • If we could just push the boat out and get Nick Powell on loan it could make a huge difference

Wouldnt be a bad try... He seems to have lost his way since his loan @ Wigan last season

Bob. You don't work here any more mate!
  • Colin. I'm sure you are a nice fella and mean no harm, but I fail to take your messages/info/Intel seriously.

If I were you, I'd contemplate asking your source if he's actually reliable.
  • Reza coming back?.
