I am no psychiatrist but I am fascinated in the thought process of the individual or individuals who actually thought, "Wow this is a great idea!" then excitedly scampered off to ask Aunt Mabel if they could rummage through her linen cupboard for some cool fabrics.
It's the apparant lack of self awareness that cracks me up. I can't think of another set of fans that would, as a group, go along so happily with this nonsense.
Does nobody on the Holmesdale site never point out how flipping sad these stunts make them look?!
Had a bunch on our flight out to Milan last Thursday, first England away, absolute cretins, two of the group in palace shirts, all in jogging bottoms and tops (!), loud, obnoxious, clearly drugged up (7am flight), starting on each other, causing a scene, police called when we landed.
We all went out separate ways with our lot saying they’ll find trouble in an empty bar.
Flight home Sat morning and they’re a lot quieter, one with a bandaged hand and one been stabbed in the shoulder. Never been so unsurprised. We had a wry smile, safe in the knowledge no lasting damage had been caused, even I wouldn’t wish that on a fellow Englishman, but talk about an embarrassment.
As an aside until about 5 years ago I’d never come across one away with England, now they’re appearing all the fooking time!!
