Peanuts cause of causes being aimed at the GN

No novice winner of the GN since Mr What in 1958
No 7 year old winner of the GN since 1940
    Won't be on my slip.

    EDIT...well done though smiffy
  • Ta folks

How's people's pockets, full, empty, even

If broke even, going into the last so anything there's a bonus

Normal behaviour for me, or will probably be slightly up after tomorrow and then be crying by Friday
  • Had my first bet since last years Grand National as know nothing about horses.

    Just a 10p e/w lucky 31 (£6.20)

    Douvan - boom
    Josses Hill - mini boom
    Druids Nephew - boom
    Hurricane Fly - mini boom
    Glens Melody - boom

Dunno how much will get back but now wish I was a 'proper' better rather than a 10p e/w better.

Did I do better having Hurricane Fly come in 3rd than having Faughveen as my choice ?
Or because of the extra bets that would have settled by having the win, it would have pissed all over the e/w ?

does that sentence even make sense ?

  • Up a few Bob NLA but would have been up loads if only Annie hadn't Arrrggggghhhhh

Well done Abs et al......great tipping........Good of you to leave them vaguely solvent for another day
  • Got rum and butter and stellar notion in the last.
R&B would be a serious plot.
Won first 3 chases then 3 crap runs, come on Jonjo 33-1

    2.05 Court Minstrel
    2.40 Barakilla
    3.20 The New One
    4.00 Polly Peachum
4.40 Theatre Queen - Have a feeling it may refuse to race though but really fancy it at a price.

Shocking start, wasn't going to win. Wish was pulled up.
Still being looked at, hope OK.

  • oh oh standing start
  • Irish cavalier.
    mine were donkeys.
  • Horizontal Speed did what a few of them did in the Gold Cup last year - ducked left when the rails divide and they use tape. Lost a lot of momentum though probably wouldn't have held off the winner.

    Any winners today Peanuts?

What today told us. Mullins horses are flying.
Going to have a dabble on Champagne Fever and Dom Poli etc.
Will also look a giggenstown horses at the end of the week.
