This is the best combined series I've seen. If the Ashes have half the drama of the last month we're in for a treat.

    ENGLAND WIN BY 3 WICKETS!!!

Brilliant innings for Jonny Bairstow. 83 not out from 60 balls.

How on earth did England win that!

    What a game!

    What a series!

    Won the series 3-2.

Well done England. A few wobbly moments but I've never enjoyed an ODI series more than this one.

So, those people who dissed the D/L method - did you enjoy that ??!!

Amazing. Both teams deserve credit. On a way, I'm glad we won that from where we are. Shows we have a bit of depth and mental toughness... A new attitude. In the past we would have folded faster than Superman on laundry day

Bairstow took the plaudits , but Billings was a large part of it.

Of course. It still needs looking at though. No way should England have been chasing that target!

@Callumcafc cheers for the updates mate, appreciated.

I was pleased for Sam Billings, but Bairstow, who always hits a fielder, was incredible. He showed heart, technique and an ability to miss the fielders. The bloke has got big bollocks.

Thats one of the reasons why the DL method is the best - can you imagine if England had batted properly at the beginning of their innings? - it would have been a walkover. For me , D/L is as good as you can get- otherwise it would have been replaced a long time ago - its fair , and it provides a good way of giving an interrupted total.
