as I keep saying, Ronnie is not as good as people make out, he has struggled in the events he has entered since the turn of the year and is very beatable
I would avoid O'Sullivan at all cost always clear favorite but not played well the last few months(what I mean by that is he has looked beatable and if someone start to take a lead he will get frustrated again)
Like a lot of celebrity sportsman at the top of their chosen sport, O'Sullivan is an absolute prick of a human being but a genius on the table which makes him box office. Disappointed he's out as I love watching him play but Bingham was fantastic. Well done Stuart
I never want O'Sullivan to win. Not because I think he's a prick though. It's party because he's too West Ham and It winds me up when his supporters start giving it the 'go on Ronnie'. But mainly because he hardly ever looks like he's enjoying it. If it's such torture Ronnie, don't play. I want the champion to be someone that will appreciate being the champion.

That's what I hate about him. He has been blessed with a god given talent that has made him a millionaire & he doesn't care or appreciate it. Snooker has given him a quality of life that I could only dream of. I would love to have an ounce of his talent. Where would he be without snooker? Probably prison like his dad.

Probably not quite true. His dad was a millionaire and they had a full size snooker table in the house so he has never been short of money.

I called Judd Trump before the tournament and I haven't changed my mind.
As I have said before you can't pot your way to the title and unless he starts playing more safe will be found out, especially now its best of 33 you need to expect a number of scrappy frames
Bingham will know this as well and use it to his advantage like he did with Ronnie.
in fact I think Judd would rather have played Ronnie for that reason.
after work and the Sponsors dinner I only just caught up with today's action
Shaun Murphy has a 6-2 lead over Barry Hawkins Stuart Bingham has a 5-3 lead over Judd Trump
Tomorrow's matches:
10:00-Shaun Murphy 6-2 Barry Hawkins-2nd session 14:30-Stuart Bingham 5-3 Judd Trump-2nd session 19:00-Shaun Murphy 6-2 Barry Hawkins-3rd session ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Neil Robertson and Stuart Bingham are still tied for the high break with a 145, and the current standing for most centuries is as follows:

I watched Trump v Bing. This is the first time I've watched Trump for a while. The commentators have been saying he's matured but I still think he is a bit crash bang wallop, he flukes more balls than any top player I've ever seen. His cue ball control is not in the same league as O'Sullivan and Hendry. But his potting ability is ridiculous, so he can get away with not having the cue ball on a string, to some extent. On today's showing Murphy looks the strongest but tomorrow is another day.

Wow, that was absolutely incredible. Well pleased for Bingham he's really deserved his place in the final, that plant at the end was mad. Can't help bet feel a little sorry for Trump though.
