Murphy has threatened to run away with this but Bingham keeps pegging him back. The first session wasn't great but the second was top quality.

    Great final this.
  • This final is so close it's amazing. Some brilliant snookers played in this frame.

Love frames like that even if it did take over an hour. Bingham had to win it or you feel it would be over for him.

Well played Bingham. Fully deserved. I was at the Masters earlier this year when he played Marco Fu (Fu made a 147 in that match) Bingham was awful. If you'd told me that night that he would become world champion a few months later, I would've said you were mad!

"Winner, winner, chicken dinner". You can take the boy out of Basildon, but you can't take Basildon out of the boy!

Thrilled for him, but still feel sorry for Murphy. Epic final, I feel exhausted just watching.

    Great final to watch.

Well done Bingham and credit to Murphy for his dignity and graciousness in defeat.
