It will be interesting how Wladimir Klitschko is received after he retires. I expect people will appreciate his talents a lot more. It's a shame that he's dominated during such a poor time for the division as the boring comments wouldn't have been mentioned if his style was beating the likes of and Ali, Fraser, Foreman, Lewis, Holmes and Herbie Hyde!
Good point, I was thinking about that when the fight was announced. Ok the heavyweight division is a no goer but he has fought all types in his match ups, he sticks to what works and wins. Similar to Mayweather....
He may be 39 but his conditioning before fights and in 'rest mode' is always superb. It's how he has stayed on top so long.
As for the fight, i hope Fury gets battered, but it will be drawn out. Wouldn't surprise me to see Fury win a few consecutive rounds then Wlad put him back in the box with Fury not knowing what to do.
I don't hate him, I can't say I like him or warm to him in the slightest
He's awful to watch, has been looked after well by his promoter but mostly due to him being a traveller he sells tons of tickets. He's also a gobshite so people watch him hoping to see him get ironed out. Bit like naz and eubank
But at least Naz and Eubank were amongst the world's best where Fury as you say is an awful watch.
It will be interesting to see Vlad against a bigger man as I can't remember a fight where Vlad hasn't just towered over someone.

Completely agree, and I loved watching Eubank and Naseem fight. If Tyson Fury was fighting in my back garden I'd draw the curtains.
Adrian Broner is the same, they'd say they put on a persona to sell tickets which is a load of bollocks they are just arseholes who have big mouths amd who have or will come unstuck. Like Anthony Small. And Tony Bellew.
I reckon fury will show his metal and a bit of heart in taking a good beating. Wide points decision for Klitschko. Then before retiring the overhyped Fury will earn a few more million getting sparked by Anthony Joshua inside 3 rounds.

This.
Don't follow boxing much but know Fury is a fabulous pantomime villain. Everyone just wants to see him slapped silly.
Fury will run from Joshua. Can't say I blame him - he's a fucking monster
Fury isn't in the same division as Adrian Broner on the annoying front! I think Fury is just uneducated and is trying to hype fights up, I doubt he will be as disrespectful as Chisora was when he had his opportunity but around Haye who was very disrespectful lets not forget. I think there is something seriously mentally wrong with Broner, it seems way beyond delusional!
I don't understand who claims he's overrated, when no one really rates him. I think he would've been a European level fighter during most eras and is just benefiting from a weak division. Klitschko will dispatch of him the same way he's been going about it the last 11 or so years.
check out the press conference if you haven't seen it, Fury turns up dressed as Batman and then his brother comes in as the Joker and they wrestle on the floor
Don't think Fury should be in the same ring as Klitschko and don't think he will be for long.
I don't like Fury, but I will root for him this time round, as I would any Brit in a world title fight.
Would like to see the Klitschko era over. He would give fighters of any era a hard time, but the only time he fought a top class fighter, Lennox Lewis, he lost. Lewis was smart to retire when he did. Klitschko was leading on points, I think, but Lennox always found a way to win fights. It's probably unfair to a fine boxer, but Klitschko just reminds me how good Lewis was.
Yeah apart from shooting Ocean's 11 instead of training, Lewis was always tactically one step ahead. But Klitschko strikes me as being about as close as anyone has gotten since Lewis, to being that sharp. Fury is reminding me of Haye - knows he's got little chance so hamming it up to maximise his pay day.

It was Vitali that fought Lennox Lewis. This fight is between his brother Wladimir and Tyson Fury
Would normally support the Englishman in a world title fight but not on this occasion. I hope Wladimir puts that gobshite Gypo in his place once & for all. I personally think the fight is a complete mismatch & I think Fury knows it too, hence why he's pulling out all the stops to maximise his payday. I like Wladimir Klitschko, he comes across as a true gentleman & very respectful competitor, unlike his opponant
Seriously, wtf has that utterly, utterly lame Batman stunt done to further the reputation of Boxing? Particularly the already flagging heavy weight division.
I'm very much a "passing-interest" type boxing fan, but seems to me it is going out of its way to damage its own reputation these days with a lot of the supposedly big fights proving to be non-events and pantomime shit like this outside the ring just compounds things.

Might be his one chance to own that car rather than hire it.

My thoughts entirely. Looking like WWE rather than a sport.

The reputation of boxing has long since been in the shite. To be fair the Fatman stunt was better than the Mosley Mayorga build up (and fight), George Groves's bus and the poster for this weekend's Wembley showdown where Frank Buglioni is fighting the terminator
To confirm Carter's post above, it was definitely Vitali that fought big Lennox.
Whilst the common myth that Vitali was leading on points, tends to suggest a close fight, a quick look at Vitali's boat race, would confirm that he was getting an absolute clobbering from the great man, and would have been blinded if he had carried on.
If Vladimir had fought Lennox, then I think he would have been knocked out - pure and simple.
This is more than coincidence why these injuries keep coming up in the build up to Tyson Fury fights. As much as I don't rate him I feel sorry for him keep getting fights postponed like this. Derek Chisora needed a lot of home truths told to him by Frank Warren to eventually get in the ring second time around.
It's becoming tiresome. He's not a physcological genius, he's a big, wild, unpredictable gypo.

is there no end people will go to to make themselves look complete and utter tools.

Saying that I can't stand him and hope he gets schooled.
