When I was about 11 or 12, my mate and I wrote to the club asking if we could come down and watch training. They said yes, but the team only trained at The Valley one day a week (the rest was at Peak Freans off A20 I think). We all went down one morning, got lots of autographs and watched the team run about on the pitch for a little while, then waved them goodbye. It would have been a very similar time to these pictures.0
