  • 100. That's the number of people killed by
guns in the U.S., every day. This includes
    crimes, suicides, gun accidents and
    shootings involving law enforcement.
  • And another. This time a hospital in Oklahoma. At least 4 killed, with more injured.
  • "There have been gun killings in 43 of the 50 US states since the Texas school shooting on 24 May. More than 650 incidents have resulted in 730 deaths according to data from the Gun Violence Archive. 23 were children and 66 were teenagers."

Is that for real ? Absolutely shocking
  • They’re wetting their knickers over here in anticipation that there may be talks to raise the legal age of buying an AK-47 from 18 to 21. My life!! I suppose at least they’re not letting it totally die a death as they usually do. But, as I said, my life!!
  • Harsh, but I no longer take an interest or care. Innocents get what idiots vote for and there are more idiots than innocents in the USA.

But with no guns, for example in the UK, the bloke would have shouted 'oi, wankers!' and been told to fuck off. Nobody dies.
Of course there will be genuine examples though where guns have saved lives. Which the gun lobby will use to state their case. It is just far more lives are lost due to America's gun laws and you don't need stats but common sense to see that.

    Sadly yes it is true.

  • It’s the open carry states that amaze me more than anything. Watching heavily armed militia wandering through the streets always shocks me.
  • It's a f##ked country. One of my friends landed the job of HR Director for a large global financial institution and it meant him moving his family (wife and 2 kids) out there. They lived in a really nice house in a really nice area just outside NY. Shortly after making the move he went out for a jog in the evening, one of his neighbours (he was being nice) advised him not to go as if the police see a black guy running they are likely to shoot him. Coupled with the fact that he didnt like the fact that all the students qat his kids school went through metal detectors on their way into school. He lasted just over a year, resigned and moved back here. Totally mental society
  • Over two dozen shot at a 4th July parade in Illinois.

Death toll currently six but could (probably will) raise.
  • Highland Park is a very nice town on Lake Michigan. Just shows these tragic events can happen absolutely anywhere.
  • And in a state with very strong gun laws. Utterly pointless if you can just drive into a neighbouring state and pick up a gun.
  • If I was to say what I'd like to say I'd get banned from here.

So let's just say it's on Independence Day & it's in their constitution that they can bare arms. What do you expect.
  • It's like the f*****g wild west out there.
How long before the yanks are encouraged to carry firearms with them at all times to fire back at the nut jobs who's start these mass shootings?
  • America has a deep, deep sickness at its heart that cannot be cured.

Innocent people gunned down again and yet once more absolutely nothing will be done.

Growing up I loved America and was fascinated by its history but I have absolutely no interest in going there ever again.
  • Judging from his online presence the suspect thought himself a rapper.

imagine the Republicans will jump on the chance to blame rap music rather than the massive gun problem they have in the country.

Has/had a video up on youtube depicting a music video in which he shoots up a school. another song titled 'I am the storm'.

  • The shooters are always complete freaks who live in their mum's basements and play call of duty.
  • is there any better way to celebrate Independence Day than to partake in the national pastime of mass shooting?
  • Fancy being scared of a few fireworks.

    Snowflakes.

I resent that. I don’t play call of duty
