All about money ....he has not been disruptive at Charlton totally opposite he is liked in dressing room .....the guy is popular with other players and most of the fans .....this is a strange decision...
Where'd you get this from? Just looks like another cheap shot at the board.
Not at all just stating a fact ...I have no qualms with the board ....cheap or expensive
two people that have strong links to the club have suggested otherwise.

From what he said on Instagram it sounds like he wanted out
What did he say on Instagram?
Something about "thanks to everyone at #cafc who made this happen

suggest he is a bad Influence -No don't think so ...-The Interim manager never fancied him from day one --now that may be a stronger link...

I'll think i'll stick to believing what Peter F and Mick Everett have said.
Pete f and mick e have mentioned it, I believe that jacko was insinuating it in his comments also
Below is our squad this season without loanees out how many do we think are worse than those in their postition last season, also I have marked those who have nothing to do with the data analysis route
1. Stephen Henderson 3. Ahmed Kashi 4. Johnnie Jackson (b4rd) 5. Patrick Bauer 6. Naby Sarr 7. Johann Berg Gudmundsson 8. Jordan Cousins (b4rd) 9. Simon Makienok 10. Cristian Ceballos 11. Callum Harriott (b4rd) 12. Alou Diarra 14. Igor Vetokele 15. Reza Ghoochannejhad 17. Tareiq Holmes-Dennis (b4rd) 18. Karlan Ahearne-Grant (b4rd) 19. Zakarya Bergdich 20. Chris Solly (b4rd) 21. Morgan Fox (b4rd) 22. El-Hadji Ba 24. Regan Charles-Cook (b4rd) 26. Harry Lennon (b4rd) 27. Dimitar Mitov 30. Nick Pope (b4rd)

Think Pope & Fox should have (b4rd) after their names
Genuinely interested in what people think on the current squad compared to the year gone by for example when reviewing JBG base it on who was in his postition before him
With some of the signings, it's hard to say who scouted them, bearing in mind Diarra was a free agent, while Henderson, Ba and Ceballos all came from English clubs
Genuinely interested in what people think on the current squad compared to the year gone by for example when reviewing JBG base it on who was in his postition before him
The most important comparison is that of our league position. In that respect we have made zero progress.
Another important comparison is how happy the fans are. Before RD they loved the squad and manager. Nowadays they are protesting.
That doesnt matter though if they were scouted using the data analysis, I wish I had been mysrlf this season and more last to judge but I havent but on paper the squad looks more balanced and competitive to the one that started last season
I am/was a little disappointed when I first heard this, and surprised to be honest but after thinking about his time with us, it has not been that great. Yeah we have seen glimpses of a very good player but on the other hand we have seen a sulky and sometimes petulant player struggling with his fitness. Without a doubt there is a very very good player in there somewhere but will anyone be able to bring it out? who knows. There was a lot of people on here really giving him stick about him being unfit, missing chances, being disruptive etc etc........now he is "on his way" the club is getting pelters saying we are letting our best player go? I hope he doesn't waste his career but I don't want him to disrupt any "progress" (said loosely & in hope!!) with our current group of players young and old. Good luck Tony, just not when you are playing us!........
Many of Charlton signings are players with an injury record, didn't make it at their last club, although showing promise, had an 'attitude' problems or were players who were undervalued for some reason or other. The trouble is with this policy is that with many of these, the problems come back. Watt has showed some promise all his career but has a problem with his focus / attitude, other players have injury problems, or haven't played much football in the last season and don't cope with championship demands.
The upshot of this policy is that the squad needs to be bigger than it is to cope with the fact that half of the signings won't be successful or be problematic. The squad is thin, even if the squad was full of proven reliable players. This is something JJ picked up on in the meeting. Watt not making it at the club is another example of the flaw of the transfer policy. It is very hit and miss and there is little scope for the speculative signings not working.

It does.
It also looks very small, short on UK experience and injury prone.
And the comparison would be more valid with the squad that finished last season.
we're 1 point outside the drop zone.
I think the squad are better then that position but they need to stay fit and play as a team.

There is some sort of problem with him his record with other clubs is not good why would all theses other clubs get rid of him the last few games looked like could not be bothered i like T watt but you cant keep at moaning at your team mates
It sounds like he's a disruption and, if that's the case, this is 100% the best thing to do. It doesn't say a lot for the scouts who recommended him in the first place. Along with the other player decisions that have been made, hopefully someone is starting to learn from this.

OK - I reckon Chris Powell + the 2012/13 side that included Yann, Stephens, Morrison, Wiggins etc is much better than this one that we have right now. League standings suggest that as well considering our best finish in 4 years of the Championship has been with that Chris Powell side that came 9th.
Roland may have stabilised us financially, but from a footballing perspective he has completely messed us about. The league positions we have had under his reign tell that story.
The attendances also tell another story.
You can dress it up however you like, but the facts suggest that we've made very little progress on the pitch with this ownership. Off the pitch I don't recall fans feeling as disillusioned with it at all right now compared to the last 20 years.
We are in a relegation scrap NLA. And we are in one because of bad decision after bad decision. There is no 'master plan' that they have that is going to work!
The fact that quite a few on here are all of a sudden defending the board on this decision supports my fear that our fanbase will never properly rock our ownership when it really comes down to it and are so easily appeased by a couple of surprise wins. Unbelievable.
None of us know the full story. I'm not the boards biggest fan. However, people are blaming the board with no backup. What if something has happened behind the scenes, which made his position at the club untenable? None of us know. And we won't know because that's between the club and the player. I know many of us are upset with the board at the mo, but IMO I don't think this was a wrong decision by the board.
When a player has done something untenable they don't get sent out on loan to a club 11 places higher than us in the league usually.
So what else could they do? Pay his contract off? That would of went down well.
Loan him to any club, a rival? That would of went down well.
If they wanted to get shot of him, the first club to take his wages should have him. For all we know, Cardiff may have been the only club to make an offer.
Just out of curiosity, so what's your thoughts on it all? The board fancied a laugh and loaned him out?
As I previously suggested - how about we actually get a MANAGER who knows how to deal with players on and off the field?
No I don't think the board did it cos they fancied a laugh. I think they did it because they are absolutely inept and have this amazing ability to fail to learn on previous mistakes.
Fair enough mate. We will agree to disagree on this one
I am not denying we are in a scrap and the third division champ squad was a brilliantly put together squad, however that was after a shit year and was for the league below us currently,
I am more interested in just how bad the data analysis system is and how it is working

I think the bloke in Belgium buying all our players , needs a new lap top for Christmas.

Mark my word, if they sign him he will be one of the top scorers in this division.
Sad to see him go.
On is day our most talented player. Terrible decision.
