I'm sure they are trying and will do so in the same way they did with Gomez - and with exactly the same ultimate goal.
Which would be an improvement on the boards that didn't get Jenkinson and Poyet signed up long term.
As a Championship club Gomez was always going to go. I don't think that's down to RD/KM, before his injury he had shown he was ready for Prem football at one of the biggest clubs (and that was while playing in his 3rd or 4th best position).

And then there is the matter of his agent. Let's hope he hasn't hooked Lookman too. Or that KM has learnt from the last stitch-up. One instance where its good she's a lawyer - albeit I doubt she has ever had to deal with such pond life in competition law circles.
Strange he's done so well there so far given his terrible attitude...
Maybe they've got a manager who knows how to deal with players and their egos?
Sounds familiar to what we were saying almost 12-months ago... Honestly don't think Watt has an attitude problem (as can't see Russell Slade being able to sort him out), with Watt I believe he can't forget / get over past poor performances
Watt is talented ... BUT .. he's a spoilt prima donna, the move will do him good, I obviously don't now how many bridges he burnt at whilst at CAFC .. .. right now, given a choice between Watt and Harriott ? .. Harriott, ten choices outta ten for me

Somebody on here referred to it earlier.

“I could have had Tony Watt – Charlton offered him to us and we couldn’t afford to pay him,” he told The Bolton News.
“His wages weren’t massive. And if Tony would have been playing on the other side of the pitch today we would have won the game.”
Why were we so keen to move him on.
Unbelievable that we would offer Watt to a fellow relegation struggling club.
What part of football does RD and Katrien not understand?
