My own take on this is that we should hope that Watt maintains his form long enough for Cardiff to sign him because I'm really not sure that he is capable of sustained success.
Two wins (and but for Saturday's sending off on Saturday possibly a third victory) for us plus six goals scored from our last four games, as opposed to two draws and just seven goals in our previous 12 matches, shows that something has changed.
Not suggesting that it is all down to Watt but we now seem to have a side pulling in the right direction and capable of breaking down the opposition. Would Watt coming back to us enhance or diminish that?
Not on current form for us at the moment . Granted, playing well then yes every time. I Think though that he has a low boredom threshold like me, I get away with it but he's a pro.
Tony Magic feet Watt's goal for Cardiff on Saturday was similar to his goal against QPR. I Have no idea if there is any Validity in the Jackson rumour, but JJ would not say it to Supporters. But let's see how Russell Slade deals with Tony the next time he throws a wobbly. If he playing every week and he has the right players around him: Water carriers and runners, he will stay happy. If not, he will get the hump.
Not to go all Colin but I have actually heard today that he fell out with two senior players and Jacko reported it. Not the first time he'd kicked off in training either apparently.
Could be nonsense, don't shoot the messenger etc but just thought I'd pass it on.

I'm not all up to date with this thread what is the Jackson rumour?! Can someone elaborate !
So what happens when Reza 'gets the hump' again and wants to go the Middle East for a year like he did before?
When Makienok gets injured, or goes back to Palermo in the Summer?
When Lookman gets sold, or simply needs a rest as he is still so fresh to it all?
Or when Vaz Te decides to go somewhere else in the Summer after his contract?
f f s .. what if a meteorite falls on Sparrow Lane during training and wipes out the entire squad ?
Try and claim on the insurance, get told cover doesn't extend to acts of god, get told by Katrien it was Roland's (god) will, play U15s and save money on player wages. Or something.

Maybe we offered Watt and Vetokele to Bolton to try and tip them over the edge on wages into administration. 15 point deduction and one less team to try to finish above as they'll be right in the shite. Cunning plan Roland
I haven't read every post on this thread however I think a lot of people are failing to see one thing, there are two sides to every story..
RD and KM didn't promise Tony they'd be taking him for a holiday to Disneyland, and instead, drop him off at Cardiff and force him get out of the car. He was clearly content enough to go out on loan.
I met him when he came into the shop I work at the day after he scored against Cardiff and won me a £20 bet, nice enough bloke, I think maybe we could be blinded in our (rightful) dislike to the current regime and forgetting that there is a possiblility that the 21 year-old just lost a bit of interest playing for us and maybe wanted to start again somewhere else where the team alongside him is better, and the managers don't get sacked every 5 minutes.
Whether he plays for us again, who knows, but if he leaves us in January then good luck to him, he has potential and the ability to be a Premier League striker.
So he fell out with a couple of players? Fine him. Discipline him. Make him train with the youth for a week. Ask why?
So he's disillusioned with the current turnover of staff? Not really his fault is it? That's just the shitty decisions from above.
Dont give him away. If we could get him playing well for a year he's the sort of player who, because he's fun to watch, could fetch 3-4m from a lower prem side.

doom mongers likje you get So you think any of those four strikers we have are highly likely to be sticking around next season then?
I can no more see into the future than you can .. a lot depends on results this season and the type of contract the player has .. BigMak started well but seems now to lack the bottle for the fight .. Vaz Te is on a short deal .. Reza and Lookman ? .. I have no idea .. BUT .. as I repeat ad nauseum, I've seen worse times than this .. the club will not go under and quite frankly all this doom mongering is getting VERY boring ... players come and players go .. we will see, getting your knickers in a terrible twist will change nothing and will only be bad for your health ..

Funny you say that, because a lot of people say the complete opposite. I'm only in my 20s but have heard many of our older supporters say this is the worst it's ever been.
Yes we have Championship status (for the moment) and The Valley (for the moment?), but we are also now a soulless experiment with fans becoming disenfranchised at a rate of knots.

And yes I know that's off topic.
All it means is that a LOT (so you claim) of older fans need to cheer up and get real and start supporting the club that they claim to support .. we are at the Valley, not squatting in another club's stadium, crowds are not down to 3,500 spread over vast terraces, we are not in the third strata, we have an owner who may have made a few fuck ups but has put the club on a decent financial footing and is picking up the overdraft, I would say he's learning as he goes, we have beaten top teams in the past month, earlier this year we got a point at Derby, probably the class team in this division, on Saturday we came close to bettering an UNBEATEN team so far this season, all this while recovering from what I understand was a deep financial mess left behind by other regimes .. I am not stating that everything in the garden's rosy .. BUT .. I am not gonna follow the suicidal morose herd down the path of 'we are fucked and getting fuckdier'
.. I'll now await the retorts from the mournful prophets of doom stating that we soon will be down to crowds of 500 watching Southern league football etc. etc. etc. ... as I wrote above, all this is about as interesting as watching paint dry .. I'm out of this 'discussion'

Oh, I'm sorry mate. #RolandIn
Not really your place to tell anyone what to do or how to be though, sadly.

Going by his ipswich performance, i'm sure we wouldn't miss him too much.
