It could be interesting to see what happens if Riga does come. He may want to bring his own men. He may not want Euell as part of the set up. If Euell is part of the set up and Riga wants to assess TW before binning him, what then? I guess it's a done deal now anyway, but I think we are making a mistake. A good manager should be able to deal with Watt properly.

Riga won't have any say in these matters. I think we all know that.
Only makes back the money we've spent on Sarr though. For an owner that wants to break even and wants financial stability we waste a lot of money on poor players.
He may be a good player in a few years but you could say that about far too many of this squad. We need more players that are good enough now.
So now that Karel has finally gone, and we only have the interim coach and the u21 coach in charge of football matters, will Tony Watt still be sold this week?
If so, we have further proof that the decisions are being made by Roland, and not by the Charlton manager/club.
Would it not be more prudent for Roland to put his new Interim Interim Head Coach in place before deciding whether to sell our best forwards? Same applies to Lookman too!
Or will selling these two be the excuse he needs to justify a war chest for the new manager coming in?

Seem to remember Fraeye saying selling Watt would be a board decision.
Could there be a twist in the Tony Watt saga? Subbed in the 82 min. last night and reports (denied) the Russel Slade was facing the sack after their cup defeat by Shrewsbury.

Yeah Karel Fraeye is in line to take over there hopefully
'While reports have put a permanent deal at £1million, Valley sources claim that the package is double that'. Yeah, because there's no high ranking Charlton officials who would ever tell a little fib, are there?
£2m for a forward who has scored 4 goals in 23 League appearances this season (and just 2 in his last 21) sounds pretty good business to me.
In addition, Watt has a history of either falling out with his club and/or simply not performing prior to being loaned out/sold:
Celtic - none in his last 17 appearances SL - 2 in his last 17 appearances Charlton - 4 in his last 25 appearances and none in his final dozen Cardiff - 2 in his 9 appearances and none in his last 5................................
Whether it's £1m, £2m or sweet fanny adam is irrelevant. It isn't going to be used to buy anyone. Well not anyone who is any good anyway because it's going to be used to fund Roland's losses this season.
Shame to see him go, I would have liked to have seen him given a second chance here, talented player and if motivated by our new manager then exactly the sort of fighting character you need in a relegation scrap.
Never mind though, got to fund the likes of Johnson and Vaz Te somehow, can't risk going over that bottom five budget can we. :-(
Obviously doesn't have a particularly large brain, and seems to cause problems wherever he goes! Flashes of brilliance, but a poor attitude and inconsistent!
£2m is great business! We could fund a loan for Yann, Bent, or Patrick Bamford?! (if they want to join the circus)

''2mill deal for Watt that's good business''
You obviously know fuck all about football!
