Said it before, and I will say it again, the no toss rule has lent to flat batting no result pitches, will hopefully have been scrapped by the start of next season.

Except when Surrey are batting, when last year's more testing pitches are brought out

79-6, needing 124 more to avoid an innings defeat!

    227-5 Rouse out

I see Denly also retired earlier on 34. Hope he's OK as he hasn't come back in.

He's gone back to Kent for the birth of his child.

So little chance of resuming his innings then!

Indeed, seeing that there is a fair chance we'll follow on, we could be in a spot of trouble.

He should have stayed for an extra 30 mins and played t20 mode

Well done Sean, your first ton for Kent!

    Well batted Sean.

So D B-D, Northeast, Dickson, Denly and Latham have all now made centuries for us this season. Can't recall the last time five players did that by the third week in May.

4-3, one man retired hurt, surely not another arrival?

Tredders opening the bowling??? He's got 1/2 in 3 overs, Coles 2/7

Suddenly from hanging on for the draw, a Kent win looks possible!

0.2: Not an ideal start as Billy Godleman is forced off after being hit by a throw. Taylor is in as nightwatchman

Played cricket with Simon and his Dad sold me all my sports gear growing up. See Min regularly at golf events - good lad and I think will be excellent at the new role.

I went to school with his sister. Irrelevant but she was very hot indeed!

I believe Mark Ealham is married to a sister of Simon Willis.

In any other season the opposition would have enough already. But not with this lot. Wouldn't want to be chasing more than 142 though.
