Some might think it early to start this thread but, with winter training in full flow, there's no time like the present to look forward to next season.
I'd like to kick off on a positive note with a player who I'm hoping will be given the opportunity to secure a first team place - Sean Dickson:

I know we are in a higher division than you this year but I hope some of the rivalry can continue in the T20 and one day stuff! I hope we are in the same group as you as obviously you won't be getting out the group!!
Hope we can enjoy some good friendly banter on here as well! (Cue the first person to tell me to f off onto my own thread!) #uptherey
That's the good news. The bad news is that training is 7-9 every Tuesday night in Canterbury, not the greatest of venues when you live this end of the county!
As Nasser, his coach at New Hall, says he is one big unit for his age - he hardly touched one block and it raced to the boundary!
Article about him here:

Sometimes there are sacrifices you have to make.
Good news, Billings has signed a contract extension
Looking forward to seeing what they've done.
Viewing is side on (unlike Canterbury) though and whilst that doesn't affect those partaking it is definitely an issue if you want to see someone batting or keeping in the far two nets as they are obstructed by the think "curtain".
And there aren't any machines for drinks or snacks so make sure you take your own!
Looks like I'll have to repeat "Get forward" in my head as I do every time I haven't faced a ball in a few months then!
Oh, and yes, I do always end up going backwards :-)
