Thanks PM. Going to add Highland Lodge to your four as I love to back horses leaving stables that, for "lurgy" or other reasons have under-performed for their previous handler.
Watch Shotgun romp home now to prove she can train - let's hope so ;-)
Don't be silly AA, you and I both know Moloney's gonna pip Paddy on the line
What a debacle. Many apologies ladies and gents. OK that's it. No more ventures north of Aintree for me. That bloody Moloney eh AA? Flying at the finish.....he does it to wind you up

No - he's just a jockey who isn't a winner. He's a placer. And a bad placer of horses at that.
Backed Alvarado. What is wrong with that Moloney ?
He does it with every horse he rides in long distance races. He would rather run into a place than over commit a horse and potentially lose (or win) a race.

Many apologies Chief.
I suspect every trend follower was off target today. I'm just going to stick to the Welsh and Grand Nationals from now on. Too many novices go well in the Irish and Scottish (1st and 3rd today). You think you've got a robust series of tests but they're so early in their careers that they blow huge holes in it. A (maiden) novice won the GN but was the first since 1958 and at least had top form beyond 3.5m. A man's got to know his limitations. See ya next year.
Ill let you know what my little fellas pick is as well
Hes picked Folsam Blue
Nice one. Would be an incredible hat-trick for Mouse Morris (and O'Leary) but he's got bucket loads of stamina and has a big shout.
Think he was just coming into it nicely before being brought down (to my untrained eye)
Dead right. Could have been a real fairytale. Very unlucky - horse, trainer and your shrewd little fella.....I'll run my Welsh National spreadsheet past him in December for his sign off All the best.

This year, surely Peanuts. Isn't the Becher Chase run in December ?!

No model for the Becher chase, alan. I just rely on my natural genius ahem! You're right though, of course. WN spreadsheet did OK last time and has had a minor tweak so ready for action in December.
Speaking of natural genius, nice one on Alvarado. Pineau De Re was looking very dangerous before unseating. What might have been at Aintree?
