Hope you manage to get some kip @SDAddick. Could be many sleepless nights for all of us, but I suspect/hope he will be reined in from his more extreme plans at least.
Been up for the last 3 hours following this with ever growing trepidation. The world shook their head at wonder at us over the Brexit vote. Right back at ya America!! Ten-fold!

And the comparisons with brexit are already getting boring, were both countries where you vote for a chosen leader/decision, and the majority vote that. Or do we just keep voting till we get the vote that the more educated (in there opinion) want? Maybe they can have a peaceful demonstration tonight about it3

Sorry @palarsehater that's very petty of me. I don't think I am more educated. I support the democratic right of all - doesn't mean I like it. Potentially, Clinton could poll more votes & lose the presidency.2 -

I don't think they will get change. It's going to be very uncomfortable when white working class, blue collar workers realize that the manufacturing jobs from China aren't coming back. I don't call names. I am angry and frustrated that the center left party does not understand that we need some sort of solution for a workforce who have seen their jobs go overseas or be automated or just not be needed in the modern world. Yeah I would be cautious of reports like that. The Trump victory party is in the middle of Manhattan, it's unlikely that you would get those kinds of chants there for many reason.palarsehater said:

Potentially good news on the Toblerone front. The reduction in the amount of Toblerone in a bar was blamed on the fall in the pound. Given the dollar fall, they should reinstate the full amount of Toblerone per bar. The Labour movement that gave a meaningful voice to left wing politics was all about working class folk fighting for change in their favour. What I'm scared of is a world where people think that foreigners and ethnic minorities are all to blame for their problems and then vote for millionaires who've never done a hard days work in their life because they've swallowed the hate filled lies, and over simplistic solutions that have been spat at them with barely disguised disdain by yet another bunch of self serving politicians who are using the people to get what serves them best, not what serves the people best.14 -
