I can see very well There's a boat on the reef with a broken back And I can see it very well There's a joke and I know it very well It's one of those that I told you long ago Take my word I'm a madman, don't you know
Once a fool had a good part in the play If it's so would I still be here today It's quite peculiar in a funny sort of way They think it's very funny everything I say Get a load of him, he's so insane You better get your coat dear It looks like rain, yeah
We'll come again next Thursday afternoon The in-laws hope they'll see you very soon But is it in your conscience that you're after Another glimpse of the madman across the water
I can see very well There's a boat on the reef with a broken back And I can see it very well There's a joke and I know it very well It's one of those that I told you long ago Take my word I'm a madman, don't you know
The ground's a long way down but I need more Is the nightmare really black Or are the windows painted Will they come again next week Can my mind really take it
We'll come again next Thursday afternoon The in-laws hope they'll see you very soon But is it in your conscience that you're after Another glimpse of a madman across the water

Just read the entire thread....so worrying and depressing. One thought; if dear Roland likes the idea of fans mingling so much, maybe he and KM ought to test the theory out for us by wearing full Charlton kits and standing in the away end at Millwall.....offering cuddles.
Welcome to the dark side, Alison. It's quite friendly here, really, if you care more about CAFC than personal profile.
Ah, and I may be late to the party, bit am now clear that @Swisdom is Steve Wisdom, loyal wingman of Sue Perks on SE7.
Swisdom agrees with removing segregation because "we used to be everyone's second club"?!
No. I see merit in fans mingling together outside the ground and having a beer together. Obviously not when we play a rival. But we are not known for fans that cause trouble. What's the harm in mingling with some guys from Bury, Oldham etc
Like recently where fans mingled with fleetwood's fans and ultimately their owner.
Same as happens at rugby matches apparently
No harm at all but as you've just proved WE DO IT ALREADY.
WE DON'T NEED KATRIEN'S UNCLE TO HELP US DO IT.
Be clear, for Roland this isn't about reducing hostility between fans it's about saving money on stewards and selling more food.

A mingle turned into a dingle at Bury!
That's down to a number of 15 year old One Can Van Damme's sadly

As it always was.
So how are you going to solve that problem?
Easy for Katrien's uncle to make glib statements, much harder to actually do something it, especially if it might cost something.
It's been mentioned several times but how anyone can believe the rubbish spouted byT20k, man hiding in Belgium and the worst CEO in the league is laughable.
The fact KM is still employed as CEO is the loudest statement of Roland's intentions.

Agreed I liked it when we mingled with Brighton and Burnley fans.

Good job we didn't mingle at Scunny tensions were running high amongst ourselves allegedly .
Comments on Roland saying about fans mixing, seems Sue Perks is now going for a job in the UN
Might already have been said but taken from the Screenshot someone is asking why we dont at least try to pilot it seeing that we used (big word that) to be everyone's 2nd favourite club.
Well SE7 Addicks you might realise that teams have tried it (Dagenham v MK Dons was the last time I remember) and even those fans started fighting amongst each other who have no rivalry!!
I enjoy conversations with opposition fans in the pub before and even after a game but I certainly do not want to be sat next to opposition fans during the game. For all the love in for AFC Wimbledon, I wouldn't want to be sat next to or happily chatting with their supporters cheering and celebrating as they beat us in the last couple of minutes let alone the supporters of a club I actually dislike. Oh well done old chap, great goal by your striker that, really pleased you've had a lovely day at the Valley. Do we really want that?
It's just another example of that dickhead thinking that he can change something he knows fuck all about. If he likes the mingling idea, go and buy Fulham and turn the whole ground into a neutral zone.
Am I right in assuming that a club that want's to improve communication has sacked a volunteer on a tiny focus group for communicating? How can you sack a volunteer?
Apparently, in a bid to maximise the effectiveness of her favourite supporter groups, Meire has been applying her very own version of Belbin Team Roles:
Many of us have enjoyed a beer and a chat with the oppo, up and down the country, for decades. Long may that be the case. Let's not get side-tracked here. What tangible success can the Target 20K have when the club is losing supporters week after week? It's a side-show. The club remains largely unrecognisable from the one we cherished when Chris Powell was in charge. If we're to engage positively with the 'away' fans, let's get together outside the ground, in solidarity, - both those intending to go in to see the game and those not prepared to do so - and let management know that we are not placated by its PR spin and attempts to 'engage' with us. The rot continues and we should unite and resist it.
Fanbase is divided and will only get moreso. It's only a matter of time before we follow in the footsteps of our loveable neighbours and start the windmill dance between ourselves.
For a start they need to re-set the "target" to Target 10K. The talk of seeing 20K in the Valley again is laughable at the moment the way things stand.

Read the £1mill a month thread lol

It will be conducted at a ground where there is plenty of space, and plenty of premium-price outlets for the customers to sample after the game.
I refer of course to The Taxpayers Stadium

Talk about leading by example!!
It's sadly all poisonous at the moment.
