Regardless of what people say about Fox I like him and think he was used as a bit of a scapegoat. He isn't perfect and is questionable at times but on his day he is really good and last season fell victim to the fact he didn't have one player in front of him that LM always changed and sometimes they didn't help and track back or they weren't good at tracking back. I think we would be silly to sell with less than a week to bring in another starting LB or another back up
Alan Nixon @reluctantnicko 8m8 minutes ago Hull City getting busy. Bid in for rising star striker. And serious move for Prem midfielder. Plus a keeper. Somebody leaving?

Despite what Dack has supposed to have said about not wanting to play for us again, money talks. It's a short career and if you can fill your boots.............. Oh hang on a minute this is Latrien doing the negotiating so your guess is as good as mine .
And a creative midfielder and a box to box midfielder with a great engine, and a left back to replace Fox and another keeper so we can send Mitov on loan.
That would be a bad move unless it's a loan which I highly doubt. He's a great talent, give him a year or so and he'll be one of the first names on the teamsheet

They have agreed a fee which would suggest that they are buying him.
So in the span of a few hours they went from wanting Fox to wanting THD? Or maybe this is bullshit?
I don't think quite as highly of THD as some on here do. I think he still has a lot to learn in terms of defending, positioning, and decision making. He is in the mold of the modern fullback though, good going forward. If he plays regularly and is coached (and that is so vital), he could be an excellent prospect.
I'd be quite frustrated if he went. I'd certainly understand if he is pushing it through, he must feel a bit jerked around over the past 18 months, but I think it'd be silly from the club. Even though I don't think he'll be a good fit as a left winger (I think he needs that space to run into that is really only afforded to fullbacks in the modern game), I can understand if he's frustrated seeing JJ start on the left wing ahead of him, and Foley at times on the right.
Not sure if anyone else noticed but I'm pretty sure he was one of the first down the tunnel on Saturday at Walsall and didn't come over to thank the travelling fans, just saying like.

It's dull Charlton day today. Why haven't we signed anyone?

A case of mistaken identity.
