If he can't get in front of Fox, I'm not sure he'll be more successful at Hudds.Swisdom said:I believe he wants first team football and isn't getting it with us.
Shame - he's got a superb left peg and pace to burn. I think he'll turn out pretty decent2 -
Also linking up with Kasey Palmer who's on loan there from Chelski . .ross1 said:

What bothers me is that the crackpots who run our club might think we are ok because we have won a couple of games on the bounce and are 5th. It is like they don't understand that the season is long and demanding!!!!!! This time last year they were probably congratulating each other! Hadn't we just beaten Hull to go second?5

He's only 20 and spent the second half of last season out on loan. Huddersfield have signed him as cover and for his potential. Why sell? It leaves us with a less options for what is likely a small saving in wages and a low fee.Covered End said:

Any player who is in the first team match day squad is one injury or loss of form away from starting.

I agree. I wouldn't have sold him, unless he was desperate to go and it was becoming a problem.Scoham said:Covered End said:

I preferred him to Fox, although I've only seen his first team performances.
I'm only disagreeing with people saying that he's a major transfer out, apparently because all our players would be a major transfer out.
It's a little bit like saying Nick Pope is a major Prem player because he's now in The Prem, so they are all major.
Let's see who comes in before the window closes, although I'm no more optimistic than most.1 -
Given his age is relatively close to Fox's and the fact that Fox is pretty much confirmed as first choice I wouldn't be surprised if THD (or maybe his agent) has been agitating for a move. If he's going to be a reserve here then he might as well be a reserve at a higher level on bigger wages.
IF (and it is a big if) the money is used to bring in the central creator we need and Slade manages to conjure a passable reserve choice LB from somewhere I would probably have to acknowledge this is the reality of the level we're at. If the money vanishes straight into Roland's back pocket (far more likely) then it's another sign of the Belgians' incompetence and I can't imagine Slade being too impressed either.

He's foreign he'll be given £20k p/w and a four year contractRufus_Ambition said:"The player is interested in listening to Charlton Athletic’s proposition should they make one."
Hmm...
If he was experienced and English he'd be on trial and then either turned down or given five months!!9 -
If he was from south east London he'd have been signed for £5 million and then sold to Burton for nothing seven minutes later4

Way too good for us0

The player is interested in listening to Brighton’s proposition should they make one.7 -
I hear he would prefer London than somewhere up north.7

How many players have we lost vs brought in since Slade said we need 5/6 more?
Out Harriott, THD, Cousins?, Ceballos, Henderson?, Pope?
In: Magennis, Foley, Botaka, Rudd
Be interesting to see an updated squad list of who is still here and fit0 -

Add old Zachary to the list, he will sadly missed for his exorbitant rating for Fifa 17moutuakilla said:How many players have we lost vs brought in since Slade said we need 5/6 more?

It's hard to understand selling yet another promising homegrown player in THD. He's versatile and can get better and our squad is small.
Especially given he's unlikely to have gone for a big fee. Let's hope they put add-ons in so we benefit if he is a success for them or is sold on at a profit.
You'd think THD is the sort of player the owner would want to develop at Charlton and then sell on for a seven figure fee. Isn't that his whole strategy? This transfer doesn't quite figure out.3 -

Bit over the top making him wear a full Robey. What's wrong with just a good, old fashioned Scarfy?sammy391 said:Talk about out of nowhere!
