Nick Powell released by Manchester United... Wouldnt mind giving him an opportunity... Be a great creative replacement for JBG

Would be great to have another Powell at The Valley.

Stephen Dawson could be our first signing. Solid league one player

    Very uninspiring if true!
30 years old having Barely played above league one - would rather have Jackson .

I would be reasonably happy with Dawson.

Highly rated at Orient and as a squad member he could be a useful member to be rotated.

I would love Diarra to stay. He won't last two games a week. Dawson could be an alternate DM.

Also Ex-orient under Slade!? I remember Dawson's performance against us for Barnsley in Riga's first season, he was a beast in there midfield! Probably what we have been missing for years!

There's no way on earth that's a Katrien signing, if Slade and Head are happy with it I can't complain.

How uninspiring, signings like that won't get us even near the play offs.

You mean the same Dawson from Scunthorpe who missed out on the Play-Offs this season on Goal Difference?

Matt Taylor from Exeter or Dale Stephens from Oldham werent brilliant name signings but worked out okay!!

Few if any signings at this level will be inspiring.

Solid, fit team players that the manager picks will do me.

You need grafters at League One level...

No one can be carried like they have been at Charlton over previous seasons, cant afford any luxury players and the fans need to get on board and realise that asap!!

He is a typical league 1 signing. If I think back to our championship winning year - I was excited about signings like Stephens, Hollands and Wiggins. Maybe he is more like the Andy Hughes equivalent.

Brighton have signed Steve Sidwell, so do they still need Cousins?

    James Hanson (Bradford City).

We are a lower league team. We will be signing lower league players.

Assuming you mean Akinfenwa. Had AFC not gone up, I would have suggested the lad up front - Lyle Taylor. Local lad, born Greenwich, although was first on the spanner's books (didn't play). 23 goals last season, including ones in the the playoff semi and final. Maybe a decent bid could still get him.

Yep it might! There left back Callum Kennedy has left them this week to join league two Orient! And I thought he was excellent in that final
