If it's a fire sale and squeezing the last drop out of the squad with the sale of Lookman even to Palarse, Fox and whoever else they can, then I could live with that if they were selling the club. Sadly this is unlikely to be the case.1

Don't want Lookman to go at ANY price. I want a team that gets promoted from League One and is then competitive in the Championship, not one that tries to get promoted through loan signings and then has to start all over again for the 4th time in 4 years as the squad is simply no where near good enough for the next level up.
If we continually look short term at selling our best players and stay in League One then whilst RD may hit his break even rate this year and maybe even next we will go even further backwards as a club and when in one or two years time there is no Lookman/Konsa/Gomez to sell we will lose mo eh hand over fist with no way back.
We need to move forwards and we need to do so now.17 -
IF we hold on to Lookman and Tex and manage to get a CMF over the line you have to say that is better than we would have hoped for a few weeks ago2
